Re: 802.11r for hAP ac2?

Seems like everything will change with RouterOS v7.13

Wireless goes to be separate package, WiFi menu will get bundled, new wifi drivers will be split into 2 packages: wifi-qcom-ac (for ac devices), wifi-qcom (for ax).

Hi!
I've read in the announcement that RB850Gx2 supports hardware encryption.
Is MPPE supported?
In case of thix box acting as small PPTP server.
Thanks for attention.

Same problem on RB1200 with FW 3.10 ROS 6.24 (and earlier versions starting from some 5.xx, I didn't have 4.xx on this board).
Serial: 2CD4*
On every single routeros upgrade I need to power cycle device cause it's not booting. I tried to wait for minutes to boot, still no luck.

Re: CRS125-24G-1S-IN + RB951G configuration

Yes, you should. Here you have two choises 1) Add route to guest subnet on CRS via RB951. NAT only to WAN. 2) Add NAT on RB951 with SNAT (to source: ip address in LAN connected to CRS) for guests. No need to add route on CRS to guests in this setup, but it's additional cpu load and memory use for N...

Re: How to redirect traffic to a proxy server?

I think that the problem is that your proxy replies with it's own address (192.168.1.100) to clients. Make sure that it replies with original destination ip to client (reply to client must be from the same address that client used as destination). Of course you need to forward correctly this on rout...

I solved windows server problem and now moving on to guest wlan configuration.. If your guests will be connecting only from WLAN, you don't need to add wlan interface to a bridge. As for now you can use a bridge in datapath configuration.
It will roam ok between APs'. Also you may want to setup access list for dropping low-signal clients (for them to reconnect to strongest AP).
Roaming will not be seamless but at least it's working.
