Re: 6.30 RC final fixes before release

/ip settings
set route-cache=no tcp-syncookies=yes

/ip route cache print
cache-size: 2
max-cache-size: 16384

Is it normal? Route cache "disabled", but it still works? Or I'm missing something?

Building an high performance mikrotik pppoe concentrator

Now i have an xeon 5160/1GB ram machine. It does about 1200 pppoe sessions and 70/20 Mbps of traffic with load about 60%. Is here someone who managed to build a machine that can handle for example 4000 sessions? What hardware?

Earlier I had 3com eth cards, load was 100% - bad things happen ;> I'm thinking about second machine, but I think that this one shoud easily handle 1000 sessions :/ So I'm asking if someone has similar configuration to compare loads.
