@onnoossendrijver:

The window size is calculated for the latency of the link and nv2 add latency to the link.

How many connections are you using in iperf?

Bandwith test and real throughput to the Internet

I have some questions about the bandwidth test inside routeros. The tcp test between one SXT 5 Lite and one rb912 is showing 40 mbit. (The testserver is running on a different router inside our datacenter.) But a speed test to the internet from the SXT is showing 10 mbit. The same speedtest on wired...

Ok. I have it. The problem was that on the 912 the interfaces had to be bridged. Quick set make there a mistake.

And i have to climb up to reset the other card.

Of course all boards are already on the tower.. behind the board to which i cant connect is an SXT. And again here. I ca...

Re: Acces to internet - but how

Hi! I am working on it, but still no connection to internet.

I gave ether1 an IP of x.x.x.x/30. Added the gateway with IP x.x.x.38. I tried to ping from the router but it says:
Host unrechable and some are timeout.

Do I need to ping from x.x.x.x/29?

What's wrong?

Acces to internet - but how

Hi,

i got IP's from my ISP. But i can't get it to work. They gave me something like this:

PTP ip.ip.ip.ip/30 router/38
LAN ip.ip.ip.ip/29 router/37

LAN has my global IP's i got from ripe. PTP seems to be the first hop. How to set this up? Can someone give me a clue?

I want to replace a pfsense machine with the Cloudcore Router. I would like to run the Cache inside of the RAM of the CCR. Regarding this i would like to ask if the WebCache application inside RouterOS is multithreaded or singlethreaed?

Is this a good idea at all to replace the PC?

I understand that with mt is almost everything possible :)

what mt dont have is a good cpe with a tight beam and good modulation (future proof).

I need 100 CPEs and it will be ubnt if a miracle don't happen and mt release something better.

It is hard to understand why it is taking so long. MT could be the leader in outdoor ac... They should borrow the driver from Brainslayer from dd-wrt.

sxt will drastic reduse output power, if you move from about 5550. Its really bad antenna to use just 150mhz from its "center". I understand. In that case i think i will use them only for farther clients as cpe's mounted on dishes using the 80 mhz from 5.47 - 5.550 ghz. As AP's i found th...

Re: New tower

What is "LAN also enabled"? Why someone would disable lan? LAN means that the clients are not isolated. The Sextant is not really a carrier class device. hence the budget price. Lots of cable, power supplies, many reasons not to do this. It should handle 4 clients. Cables yes. But i switc...

Re: New tower

Why SXT's on the TOWER. They are CPE's for the client end. You can have better things with better results. They are cheap and SXT G-5HnD has a level 4 license. 711-5HnD with a panel antenna and a metal shield enclosure. or R52Hn with a RB800 or RB 433AH. both are MIMO and capable enough to give 50 ...
