Ok, I have given the 3 different ways I have tried to work with Global Variables. What I am trying to do is to set the variable on the first time the script runs(so expecting an empty in logs from :log info $myVar). The second time the script runs I expect to get the value in the logs, but continue ...

So I have been trying to get this working, but with no luck.

I understand I can use EOIP, but my problem is that I am using Pfsense as a VPN server and a Mikrotik as a PPTP client. I cannot figure out how to set up the EOIP between Pfsense and Mikrotik.

Anyone got any suggestions?

PPPOE

Hi everyone I would like to run two PPPOE clients on my RB751 and use one of the DSL accounts(one of the PPPOE connections) for You Tube traffic and the other PPPOE connection for all other traffic. I have had a look around but don't really know what I am looking for. Could someone maybe point me in...

Hi everyone I have my hotspot up and running and have switched from using Userman to Radius Manager v4. I have a connection between the NAS(RB433) and the Radius server, but I am battling to sort out the user limits. The manual is not very helpful and cannot find anything on Google. Can anyone talk ...

Radius manager servicing multiple locations

Hi So after looking around for a long time! It seems the best way to set this up is using a PPTP server on the mikrotik connected to the LAN that the Radius server is on, then PPTP clients on all other Mikrotik RB's. My problem is that, how do I tell the RB's to only route the radius authentication ...

User Manager changing usage

Hi everyone Usermanager running on my RB433(same board running hotspot server) shows that a user has used for example 2.7Gig download and 300Mb uploaded, then when I check later the same user has now used less data for example 2.4Gig Downloaded and 250Mb uploaded. Usermanager not disconnecting clients

Hi I have a rb433 with a hotspot setup, running a radius server connected to UM on the same board. It works, users gain access to the internet, and it keeps track of the data each user uses. But it doesn't cut them off once they reach their limits(which are set up under limitations/profiles). Anyone...

No, thats the problem. There 2 devices, lets say A and B. A is point north and has clients connecting to it, B is south east of A. So A will not be pointing at B, but B will be pointing at A. I thought I might get a connection because of the short distance and theres nothing in the way. Does that ex...

I am not too sure if this will work, but change the time between updates to the Radius server.

This can be done through winbox>ip>hotspot>hotspot server
