Hello All, I've been consulted to detect the actual BW consumption of a Network and report should a BW Expansion is needed. A friend of mine, suspects that his ISP is not giving him the whole BW he has agreed on which is the BW he is paying for. Instead, they compensate for the BW shortage by using ...

Re: WiFi Signal Goes OFF and ON..

Hello Forum..

Am I describing the issue correctly? Is there any vagueness somewhere, in the subject may be? Should I explain it in more details? Does anyone suggest posting it at a different section in the forum?

Please help,
Thanks..

Re: Preventing any Static IP allocation on DHCP Router

set interface so arp=reply-only and set dhcp server to add mac addresses to arp table when address is assigned. That way, you will force anyone to use DHCP settings. Totally handled the problem: [admin@DHCP] > interface ethernet set "ether3" arp=reply-only Thanks janisk.. I really appreciate your r...

It is allocating IPs from this pool: [admin@DHCP] > ip pool print detail 0 name="dhcp_pool1" ranges=10.10.10.20-10.10.10.100 Now I want to force the users to get their IPs from the DHCP server and do not allow any st...

Re: Boot attemp login using brute force

you can use firewall to do this. you can look up several threads about how to solve this problem on the forum. Hi janisk, What I meant was: If someone "an IP" make 10 attempts to access the router and none of them was successful, then add his "IP" to address list under ftp_blacklist or ssh_blacklis...
