Bug in Export

Hi, We've been having issues for a while during the import of an exported config. It seems that the system-scheduler is being generated prior to the system-scripts, and if the scheduler is calling a script, the import will fail. We've been manually re-arraning but it used to work. It's been a while ...

Re: Ipsec vpn to sonicwall

Looks like they forgot to mention that they need us to NAT everything as 10.81.25.0/24. Tunnel is up now after they clarified that and we were able to netmap stuff...

Thanks.

Ipsec vpn to sonicwall

Hi, Having a hard time getting a vpn up and running. THe other side is a Sonicwall(which we don't/can't control). We seem to get most of the connection up, but we see the following, and no traffic flows: /ip ipsec remote-peers print 0 local-address=1.1.1.1 remote-address=2.2.2.2 state=established si...

Re: Bulk erase files

Thanks for the help. A reboot seems to be what it needed. Immediately after reboot, it had almost 20MB free space. Was then able to upgrade to 6.4 without any issues.

Thanks.
Carlos.

Re: Bulk erase files

Skot - Thanks for the code. However, it seems to be stuck. Been running that for a few minutes, and nothing shows up other than a blinking cursor. I don't know if the unit is locked up because all the file memory is in use. It states 61.4 of 61.4MB used. Should I attempt to reboot the unit? The mess...

Bulk erase files

Hi, We have a bit of a situation with a 751 running 5.14. Seems that there's no memory left in the unit, and we can't get any files to list so we can delete. Is there a quick script or command we can run to remove anything starting with export or backup? I've tried the filter in winbox, but that won...

Re: Multiple WAN, NAT issues

An update. Not sure why, but after a router reboot we are able to access on all interfaces as needed.

Multiple WAN, NAT issues

Hi, I'm having a few issues getting a RB450 to work correctly with multiple ISP connections. Everything appears to be working correctly, except that I can't access the MT itself through the public IPs on the secondary ISP. Here's the config with relevant info /interface ethernet set 0 name=eth1-isp1...

Replace linux heartbeat routers with MT493G VRRP Questions

Hi, After usign Mikrotik routers for most customer connections, and becoming fairly familiar, I've decided it's time to replace some equipment at our main location. We currently have a pair of linux routers running heartbeat in a high-availability type setup. I'm attempting to replicate this setup i...

Re: DynDNS update script

Seems nothing has changed. I started to do a bit of debug, and it seems that the check for the file always generates a new dyndns-lastip.txt file. I tried a new search for file, that always created a new file: :local found "0"; :foreach i in=[/file find] do={ :local filename [/file get $i name]; if ...

Re: DynDNS update script

Hi, (RouterOS - 5.14 on a RB751U-2HnD) I just attempted to copy/paste the script into winbox after editing the username/password/hostname/interface variables. However, the script gets stuck, and I've noticed the following... - Seems that line 90 captures the output of the file listing as the content...

Re: RB751U as wireless client and AP

Thanks for the information. I think a 493 with a pair of R52's is going to be the best solution.

Thanks again,

Carlos.

RB751U as wireless client and AP

Hi, After coming across this article on setting up the 751U to use the wireless signal as a client. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Connect_to_an_Available_Wireless_Network I was wondering if it's possible to do both out of the 751U. Basically use it to receive a wireless signal, and still function as...
