Re: v6.13 released!

Yes, after updating (x86) to 6.13, simple queues disappear. Re-boot, they show up and slowley disappear again. Jeff ----------------- Just upgraded from 6.12 to 6.13 (x86). From the Winbox -> Queues -> Simple Queues - the list is empty. In the terminal/ssh it's ok. Anybody with the same problem?

Hotspot to Simple Queue

I have been using the hotspot feature for some time on my network but since I have grown I would like to just use the simple queues.
Can the hotspot and simple queue features be used at the same time.

Is there an easy way to change this?

Thanks.

If you've got the hotspot generated static rule for "transparent HTTP proxy for hotspot clients" in the dst-nat chain of your firewall, try disabling it. Nearly every problem we have ever had with 2.8 and the hotspot (both end-user web surfing and internal crashes) was solved by disabling...

Sorry, the 2.8 hotspot does not have this feature. You can try to get around it by mangling the packets from your "bypass-customers" with a mark of "hs_auth" (I think - 2.8 is gone in my mind ;) please check the manual or the firewall rules created by hotspot in 2.8). This will ...

The 2.9 (!) hotspot does provide a feature called "ip binding". This let's you enter IP addresses and/or MAC addresses that should bypass the hotspot, i.e. no hotspot authentication at all. Does that sound like what you want? Best regards, Christian Meis Yes it does. Can v2.8.28 do this a...

I can't really understand your question, however you may use HotSpot MAC-authentication method. User will not be required to type login and password, but his MAC-address will be used automaticaly as username, description here: http://www.mikrotik.com/docs/ros/2.9/ip/hotspot||0.10738002166439034 Is ...

I am using a MT OS and am having problems with mac filtering enabled. The problem is that when I have people using Tranzeo CPE's logging in the MAC address, of the NIC is being from the machine and not the Tranzeo.

How do I get MT to use only the MAC address of the CPE
