Re: v6.45beta [testing] is released!

I have an CHR install which capsman is running. On 6.45beta27 I noticed that when I try to see on winbox the "Configurations" tab under Capsman settings or "CAP Interface", winbox close/crash without any error on Log window. I also updated to latest beta (6.45beta31) and sitll issue persist. My win...

Re: LtAP Mini GPS useless without antenna

same here. I was lucky and bought an external antenna.
In real life there is no internal antenna for gps connected.
Also GPS led it stays off when there is no satellite connected. This led can not be used for any other function.

Re: HAP AC Lite bricked (3rd one?)

Which packages were installed on device? Was it only RouterOS bundle package? Have you tried to: 1) Power off device; 2) Press and hold reset button; 3) Power on device; 4) Release button after 2-3 seconds; 5) If it boots up, then execute "/system routerboard upgrade" and "/system reboot" If that d...

Re: v6.39rc [release candidate] is released

This is an example about SNMP CAPsMAN registration table. We run SNMPwalk to device. As a result we get different OIDs. For example: iso.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.5.1.12..587 In this case: iso.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.5.1.12 - CAPsMAN registration table specific entry; xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx - MAC address in d...

Re: RE: Re: v6.39rc [release candidate] is released

6.38.1 is a good version to downgrade and get back mac address oid. I just did it and all are back to normal Thanks for taking the time and effort to confirm that. Odds are in our favor they will add that back in then :) I hope for a quick fix as I had mentioned the wrong oid months ago on http://f...

Re: RE: Re: v6.39rc [release candidate] is released

Well, look at that. Not only did they not fix the misprint of oid, they did in fact remove mac from the tree. I'm guessing someone just removed they wrong thing by accident. They'll need to fix that clearly. I could have sworn it was in there, but I downgraded to the last release (rc27) and still d...

The rabbit hole of Mikrotik on oid is that the MAC-address oid appeared wrong on console: /caps-man> registration-table print oid 0 mac-address=.1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.4.1.1.148.16.62.205.37.201.81 uptime=.1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.1.4.1.3.148.16.62.205.37.201.81 tx-bytes=.1.3.6.1.4.1.149...

Re: Feature request:Vmware support - vmwaretools package

Vmware esxi runs Mikrotik as a vm but as discussed in some threads it has performance issues since vmware-tools is not installable to Mikrotik. May be a vmware-tools package produced by Mikrotik can be easily deployed. We can have Routeros inside the esxi/esx, close to native performance. Really in...
