Re: Powerbox Pro short circuit

What is the length of the supply cable POE-IN ?
I had such a problem with the power cable with its length more than 15m.
I had to enable the function - ether1-poe-in-long-cable=yes

After repeatedly performing the commands :
interface l2tp-server server set enabled=yes
or
interface pptp-server server set enabled=yes

(more than 10 times in a row), pptp and l2tp server stops working,
the connection of customers to them is impossible!
Please fix this error.

We would also need this feature, especially as the CCR BGP-updates are so slow and frequent flaps are causing continous instabilities...
Totally agree! This is the desired function!

This is a known limitation: BGP routing table loading is single threaded thus using only one CPU.

RouterOS v6.28

Slow download speeds BGP prefixes, and uneven loading the CPU.

1. Perform the upgrade RB SXT 5HPnD to version 6.27
2. When you try to create a file - Supout.rif CPU usage becomes 100 percent.
3. After creating the file - Supout.rif CPU usage is 100 percent.

If this catches up quickly, next best move would be to make some cheap RB951 style WiFi-enabled CPE with SFP-port or integrated GPON module for mass customer deployment.
Good idea.

I seem to have a problem with my RB751-U-2nHD where it will spike to 100% CPU usage and sit there for several minutes making it almost totally unresponsive, if watchdog is enabled it will then eventually reboot itself.

Re: MetaROUTER stability issues on certain MIPSBE and PPC bo

Metarouter freezes when loading the base system more than 40-50 per cent.
When using metarouter on RB2011, metarouter hangs on version 5.22.
After a while, when the load on the base system fall below 10 percent, metarouter restores normal operation.
After you upgrade to 6.0rc5, the problem remained.

No, in the version 5.22 is also not okay with the heavy load of the process "flash". Look here:

Re: RB751U-2Hn frequent (daily) reboots

I assume that the reboot on watchdog is due to the strong CPU load. For some reason the torrent traffic arriving via the radio interface causes severe loading process - "flash". Turning off the radio interface solves the problem.

When using RB751U-2HnD with software 5.11 are frequent hangs and reboot the device for downloading torrents at speeds above 40 Mbps.
I use two uplink pppoe (5 Mbps) and pptp (100 Mbps), masquerading, load balancing using PCC.
At version 5.8, this configuration is stable.
