Good job Mikrotik!
Now I am waiting for 260GP or 750GP! So I can use power-switch to power two other 260GS switches and router in my SOHO.
Wouldn't it be great?! Reduce occupied power-sockets, decrease electricity consumption and save the environment! ;)

Re: Dual WAN and VPN

Thank you for the link, quiet interesting presentation.

Probably it could help as the next step - to route VPN clients over 3G WAN.

But how does it help in the first place -the router does not respond even on ping over 3G WAN if Wireless bridge is active?

Hi guys, I am not sure which direction to dig so I decided to ask community. The setup is on the attached picture. The main connection is over wireless bridge and 3G PPPoE is used as backup. Depending on what OS your are using but "local" and its sub-domains "*.local" may point to "127.0.0.1" inside your "hosts" file which has higher priority than asking from DNS server

I know this topic is damn old but I would like to ask here rather than make a new one, since brief history is here.

And know the question follows: are there any chages about USB support in RB800?

It would be nice to attach 3G USB modem as backup channel over Mini PCI-E USB controller.

bridging - you can see trafic on all bridged ports What does this mean? The device acts like a hub? Or is it port mirroring? You can monitor communication status in the web-console and WinBox and set Graphing to each of those interfaces. Cause in the "switch group" you can monitor whole "switch gro...
