Re: Neighbor Discovery broken on CRS - all neighbors are. on master-port

It's not broken. Working as intended. That is the whole idea of master-port. All ports are directly connected to switch chip and all traffic passes directly. The cpu only sees master-port. But in neighbour table you see the mac address of the device and then you can use the switch fdb table to see t...

Why are you limiting your rates so much with such excellent signals ?
And why is everyone connected with 802.11a and not 802.11n ? Does your board not support that ? You are stating only the antenna type, but not your AP type.

Re: Why Mikrotik needs shut down "properly"?

I think that the message you get after a power failure is very useful. I know that the router rebooted because there was some power outage. It may not be useful for home users, but for managing remote routers is very good. And the typical home user does not go all the time to read their router's logs.

The signal is very low. With that signal you won't get a stable connection.
On this distance even with some treetops should be more. Try to align better, try 20Mhz channel, mount higher if possible. And I am not sure about regulatory domain for Croatia, maybe you are limited in tx-power ?

If the problem is in your router your cpu usage will be very high.
If the cpu usage of the router stay low then it is not the problem.

Is ether5 a part of a bridge ?
If it is your rules will not work, because the bridge is the master interface and the traffic goes through it.
The same applies if it is a part of a switch group. The firewall rules will work on the master interface.

You have this rule :

This is exactly the nat you must disable. Otherwise everything leaving the router through ether12-WAN is masquaraded with the router's ip.

The data rate you selected is valid for A standard. But you are using mixed A/N.
Either select 5Ghz-A in band or disable all MCS (basic and supported) to prevent going to N rates.

I haven't tried all those combinations, but the C channel being the control channel is the one that is important. And if the station has the same C channel in the scan-list it will be able to connect. After that, and I say that without being sure just how I think it is - the type of extension Ceee, ...

You will see a gain of a few dB when you switch to the Netmetal. If you choose 20/40/80 Ceee channel it will try to stay on 80Mhz. For the usage you want it - large data backups, you can first try 802.11. It performs good, actually best at the moment when there are not a lot of connections and the c...

Decide what channel width you want to use depending on the throughput requirement and available spectrum - 20,40 or 80Mhz
If you choose 20/40/80 it will try to use 80Mhz. But in my observation when doing spectral scan the 'C' frequency is the one that is used the most.

Yes. Some of these devices had very weak signals. So another device somewhere else in the room (and I'm assuming it's a big one) to split them and all have better signals will help.
And you had close to 100 devices connected. A lot of air time is used just for management frames.
