Re: RouterOS 7 VLAN access problem on PPC architecture

The BUG still exists with recent versions of RouterOS with RB850Gx2. Any solution Mikrotik?

It seems that they know the error but don't solve it. The Mikrotik is not accessible through Winbox/HTTP on v7.

Re: v7.15rc [testing] is released!

We have a problem with v7.15rc1, the PPPoE accounting don't send the bytes to radius. Example: Always 0 bytes. We have a problem with > 7.12 and OSPF, some (active) routes are duplicated with the same nexthop, it doesn't make sense.

Maximum ports on a bridge (1024)

For a type of service that our wholesale bitstream provider provides us with VLAN for each FTTH user, we use a bridge to group all the clients and with horizon we generate isolation between them to be able to have a PPPoE server (BRAS) and subnetting for CPE remote management. The issue is that we h...

Re: ccr 2004 reboots randomly

Has anyone noticed an improvement with versions 6.49beta22 or higher, or with 6.48.2 and random reboots? I have several in test with the new RouterOS (we have 25 CCR2004 installed on our network) and I continue to have random reboots (often every 2 to 3 days, sometimes 15 days), with devices that on...

Re: v6.45.2 [stable] is released!

My CCR1009-7G-1C after upgraded to 6.45.x, it rebooted every night. The logs says "router was rebooted without proper shutdown, probaly kernel failure. Kernel failure in previous boot." Any solutions? Youre lucky. I have CCR-1072, it not rebooting, just freezes and looking dead every 1-3 ...

New CCR1036-8G-2S+ with dual PSU - Voltage question

We are checking that the new CCR1036-8G-2S+ devices come with dual power supply. The voltage of these is now 12V, previously like the other CCR1036 was 24V. We use centralized 24V DC power supplies and place this accessory: https://shop.meconet.de/Power-Supply/up-to-48-Volt/DC-conversion-kit-from-AC...

Re: Basic BGP improvements in ROS 6

+1!!! We have more that 10 CCR1072 but will can't continue with Mikrotik because our edge routers dies when a peer comes down, the route propagation on the iBGP it's too slow... and this supposes a partial fall of half an hour in the best scenario.... What is the issue on your software because at th...

Re: CRS226-24G-2S+ issue - hangs

Solution?... The CRS226 to the trash and change it for CRS326. Incredible but true. I'm sure there's a bug or hw problem but mikrotik just ignores it, and pulls out a new model.

Re: CRS226-24G-2S+ issue - hangs

We have the same problem here, three CRS226 installed and all fail randomly, sometimes take months and sometimes several failures in the same week. Suddenly it stops passing traffic to the VLANs... we reboot and it works. There is no complicated configuration, only VLAN. We use RouterOS v6.40.2 Any ...
