Restart ipsec

I have 2 ipsec tunnels to 2 separate (non-mikrotik) locations. Both are up and running. I need to make changes to these at times and need to know how to restart one tunnel without killing the 2nd. It seems that the only way to do this is to flush SA's, which drops both tunnels. Any pointer is apprec...

Re: Multiple IP's

First thanks for the quick responses, much appreciated. The public addresses will not be on the servers. I am now wondering if doing it this way, putting the ip's on the interfaces or if I should be looking at something like netmap.

Re: Multiple IP's

Yeah I figured it was doing arp, I had tried proxy-arp to no avail. I just now disabled the IP address for .53 and the src-nat rule and was successful in connecting via ssh. I added another dst-nat rule for .54 for http to the same internal host and it would not connect. I added the public address ....

Re: Multiple IP's

From what I recall nowhere, the dst-address would redirect the port mappings properly. I only had the subnet defined on the public interface.

Re: Very high cpu usage with 20+ sstp clients

5.21 fixed this for me. I have since upgraded to 5.22 and have not seen this issue with it either.

Re: Problem with mikrotik and IOS6

Apple was having wifi problems period just after release with all wifi on some devices. They had a page down. They fixed it. Are you still having issues. My new iPad with a 751 works just fine.

Re: Bridged Firewall

Yeah I must not be explaining it well EOIP is not what I am looking for. I have a host with a public address on it. I want to put a Mikrotik router in front of it bridged (no NAT) with firewall rules only allowing SIP traffic from other public internet hosts. I have tried doing it with just bridge f...

Bridged Firewall

I want to setup a 750 to do bridged firewall between 2 public hosts to pass sip traffic. (theoretical addresses) host1 4.4.4.4 eth1 bridge1=eth1 + eth2 eth2 goes to internet host2 8.8.8.8 I would only like to allow sip between these 2 hosts and drop everything else. I have tried use-ip-firewall=yes....

Re: Routerboard Recommendation - Product Choice

Great thanks for the input. Being about the same price is a RB2011L or a 450G a better option?

Re: Routerboard Recommendation - Product Choice

I do not need but if it has it great. I am mainly looking for how much processor / ram combination would be needed if it can be done on a 750 great if I need to go with a 2011L ok I am hopeful I do not need to go to the cost of a 1200 or so. Thanks.

Routerboard Recommendation - Product Choice

I am currently testing a RB150 as a PPTP/SSTP gateway for vpn users. It is using radius to authenticate users via Active Directory. I would like to add more users than the 2 or 3 that are using it now but suspect that the processor is going to not be able to handle it. I am trying to get an idea of ...

Re: Bridged Firewall

That actually is exactly what I want to do. Drop everything and only allow a few things. Does the option for use ip firewall need to be set to yes for the bridge mode? I tried your settings and although they work I still see other services when I NMAP from the LAN. I added a drop at the end of the l...

I have a routerboard that I would like to setup as a firewall between my lan and my workstation. I want to filter traffic coming from the lan and from the internet to this machine. I would like to keep everything on the same subnet . I have been playing with bridge mode and using the ip firewall set...
