From version 5.x we have problem with our core router. We have it on 3 diferent server, but same problem. With multicore enabled, server reboot on unequable time. With multicore disabled everything is ok, but cpu is than on: 100% all time. On version 4 we have no problem with this just on version 4...

Rb153 is stable, why do you think it's not? We will have some new devices with 3 miniPCI but not so soon.

linksys wmp55ag is atheros 5212a chipset but didn't have 2.7ghz

just hunt all 5212a cards, especially from proxim b/g cards, they're all using atheros 5212a

your card has broken country code maybe (my first guess)

set your scan-list to whatever you are using in frequency

e.g : scan-list=5200 in both cpe/ap
(don't use default)

It can be done with mangle + address list + queue tree

That's why I requested simple queue that can use "address-list" feature to
simplified this...
because with mangle only mark one way e.g. upstream or downstream, you need to mangle both ways

before you can use it.
I don't think mikrotik support reverse dns?
use bind or other dns

it's per /24 for 000.000.000.in-addr.arpa.

Same things happened with me, same logs, can't re-establish bgp if peers refreshes, etc. for 2.9.22-2.9.26 w/routing-test

Always sent supout.rif to mikrotik support, don't know if they actually find out something going on in that supout.rif?
I will sent bgp+debug log after bgp crashed.

i'm having same problem here
single user can bypass simple queues, traffic is udp and network is masqueraded

simple queue on interface=all ; target address=customer ip

I believe that simple queue didn't shape udp traffic?

My friend has this card too WL-8310v1 b/g works fine, but extra-channels won't work

try using wireless legacy. downgrade your wireless package to legacy i guess if you are using 2.8.22 or less

my mt box and 5213 works fine using 5,8ghz :)

If the card detected, then it will beep twice with same tones. But this time, it beep twice but the second beep with different tone, I assuming that the ISA-PCMCIA adapter won't work, since I use ricoh PCI-PCMCIA adapter that works fine (beep twice and I'm using it rite now)... because of that ricoh...

Ok, I've migrated all queues from simple to tree :D

and hell yeah it take a long time for me to find out the hierarchi queue tree :D

wow after implement what dave says....
my router box works great....

I use combined queue tree and simple queues
to control bandwidth...
e.g. 256kbps using queue simple for pipe bandwitdh
and 128kbps using mangle/queue tree for international traffic :D

even with 2.9b2 cannot mount /dev/boot :(
so i can't use any 2.9 versions on my pc...
better switch back to 2.8.x
