Guys, I have a client that currently has a RB2011UiAS-2HnD installed and they are paying for a 100Mb comcast circuit. You have the OpenVPN server and client and both have logs. It sounds like you're only looking at the Mikrotik logs; do you have access to the server logs?

The server logs should provide more detail as to why this is happening. Keep in mind that Mikrotik, inexplicably, still does not support OpenVPN over UDP; you have to use TCP. Thanks. You can make a script that monotors if your isp gateway is reachable and if not disable the vrrp interface untill the gateway is reachable again.

Also, i have had an issue when changing the default lan to something different, i get no internet. Found out that i needed to get rid of the static DNS which stays as 192.168.88.1.. Once i remove that i get internet access.

Nope. Everything works as expected since RP. Tried on RP x64 Pro and have it working on latest RTM x64 Pro. All versions are genuine.

I have a certain Ip that is connected to my rb751g. I have already created a firewall rule to drop all packets from that ip but in the connections tab it still says

Hey guys,

Been trying to get this to work with some of the suggestions on the forums but I cannot get it to work.

RB751G
Port 1= WAN1
Port 2= LAN1
Port 3= WAN2
Port 4= LAN2
Wifi = Bridged with LAN2

Anybody have specific instructions for this setup?

If you have an Omnitik mounted around 20ft with laptop 802.11a/n clients, clear line of site, 300ft should work. Indoors is dependent on what materials the building is made of.

I guess i'm looking at this the wrong way. I'm thinking more of wifi clients (laptops and smartphones for example) in the surrounding area rather than an SXT at the other end.

Outdoor signal length for OmniTik UPA-5HnD

Can't seem to find any solid numbers.

Hey guys, I'm having an issue where my local lan dhcp-server is not handing out ip's. I have a hotspot setup and that interface is handing out ip's just fine. Everything seems to be configured the same. Any help would be great. V5.14 x86 version Nevermind. For some reason there was a relay setup on...

Second Interface not handing out IP's

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue where my local lan dhcp-server is not handing out ip's. I have a hotspot setup and that interface is handing out ip's just fine. Everything seems to be configured the same. Any help would be great.
