I cant believe that there are people that cant reboot the router nightly till the fix is out.
I understand that is not a solution but it is a full working fix.

The MTU of all my phisical interfaces is 1500..

but when I create the tunnel, the tunnel the default MTU of the tunnel is 1476 (since GRE is 24byte header) 1476+1500 is perfect..

Between software update we need to reset router to default each time

can I laugh?

You may reset devices that are on the shelf, not ones that are in production with 1000+ users on it.!

Re: RouterOS v6.27 released

One bug discovered from6.25.

in the routes list, I have set a route, with "check gateway" option enabled, so if the router is unreachable, it disables the route.
With 6.25 works, with 6.27 doesnt work. Even if the router is unreachable, the route is still up.

So what is the benefit in RB750s or 2011, to upgrade from 2.41 (very stable for me) to 3.x (3.02 gave me a lot of dead routerboards) ?

VLAN on a switch-group port

Hello, simple question:

I have a rb750, with switched ports eth2-eth3-eth4 (the eth2 is the masterport)

Can I use VLANs on a switched port groups, doing the same "trunk" on eth2,eth3,eth4 ?

Re: RB2011 switch port groups

Why is there no entry under "Switch all ports". According to http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Switch_Chip_Features this option is only meaningful on RB450G and RB435G boards. On your device (RB2011, I assume) this option does nothing. Does it mean the CPU is handling the traffic now? That depen...

Re: What to do when even NetInstall does not help ?

The problem that have caused me a lot of troubles, was upgrading from 2.41 to 3.xx routerboot firmware.

I experienced in 750s, 2011UAS-RM and 450s

reverted bootloader to 2.41 and latest ROS and they are running fine.

I got an answer from MT Support.

Dont use the eth1 as WAN port, if you want the 2-5 being used as a switch. It behaves as a hub then. It is a cpu port (told me)

I solved NOT using the port 1, and using 2 as WAN end 3-5 as LAN. It worked perfectly.
