NOTE that I have changed the ASN's and IP addresses to protect identity etc. I have 3 Internet POPs with 2 different upstreams. I tried this code on a 5Ghz RB411GL that is an AP bridge with 11 connected CPE. 10 of those are regular clients. The other one is feeding a small repeater. SNR on all CPE is 37dB or more. Re: Reset Simple Queue Counters from API ? [SOLVED]

You can use the queue name in place of the number. Same is true for any menu where unique names are required (e.g. interface). In menus that don't support this, you have to use a query to get the ID of the item(s) you want to target. e.g. <?php require_once 'PEAR2_Net_RouterOS-1.0.0b6.phar'; use PE...

Reset Simple Queue Counters from API ? [SOLVED]

I'm trying to reset the simple queue counters on a specific queue from the API using PHP (not all queues)

It does not appear to be possible to specify a queue by anything but the queue number, and it doesn't seem to be possible to get the number from the API ?

Anyone else do this ?

Doubleclick on a Submap in Dude client takes you to the Submap. But the same Submap object is not clickable in the Dude Web view. Instead you have to go back and choose that map from the Network Maps menu in Webfig view ?

You mean Nv2 Sync not for PTP mode bridge? And if we change mode by QRT5 ap bridge, then work? QRT must be AP and then only works if the QRT5 is on the same frequency as the AP on that tower. Re: HOw do you Remotly Accessing Wireless access point

You would need to portmap from the hotspot public interface through to the router, which can be a bit tricky and 'dangerous'. Easier to use an application like teamviewer on a PC on the inside of the TPLink and remote control a desktop inside your LAN that can then access the TPLink from the LAN side.

Re: Problem with AP 5.21 + NV2

The domed cap's were a big problem on RB450G for me. Lost 12 boards in the space of 8 months. Found that if I powered them with 18VDc across the power adaptor plug it wasn't an issue, but using the 24VDc POE into port one they would blow the caps. As a matter of fact I did loose two RB493's early on...

Re: Problem with AP 5.21 + NV2

My 'problem child' AP just kicked up a fit again... I have another supout.rif file for you Uldis ;-D I'll send via email. I also noticed that if I disable/enable the interface too quickly the CPEs don't ALL re associate. In this case there are 42 CPE's on this interface and only ~26 came back when I...

Re: Problem with AP 5.21 + NV2

That happened to me on two PtP links. I wrote a Quick script to check the interface and disable/enable the ENTIRE interface when failure is detected. It runs every 90 seconds under scheduler. You could do faster but you need to account for script delay and ping reply time or it'll just reset continu...

BTW: Yesterday overnight I tried setting the TDMA slots to 2, but could only authenticate ~24 CPE's. The status Tab showed "Connected 42, Authenticated 24". I cache radius responses for 2 minutes. Radius resends were low but the other ~18 CPE's could not authenticate (?) In the end I could...

Re: Problem with AP 5.21 + NV2

This isn't a reboot problem. The AP side just stops talking to the CPE's. CPE's are mostly R52H on RB411. I have probably 30 Grooves as CPE's running 5.20 or 5.21 and no issues with them. No Groove AP's though. Other than this issue 5.21 has been very stable - and latency and jitter are way better t...

Re: RB411AR - Horrible range with built-in wireless card

You need an antenna specific to the frequency you are using. You can't use an 'A mode' (5.x GHz) antenna on 'B Mode' (2.4Ghz) and expect it to propagate. There are A/B/G mode antenna but typically that's like a little rubby ducky type - and they do almost nothing other than adding a 50 ohm load to t...

Period size on the point to points is already set at 1.

If I set the period to 2 on an AP with 42 clients it takes them a very long time to re-associate (5 or more minutes) if they drop :-(

BUMP - no one else has seen this ? This is happening on at least 3 different CPE's on two different AP's. The customer's report that they have no access when this happens. They have to power cycle the CPE or it has to be 'kicked' from the AP to start passing traffic again. All of them running 5.20. ...

Re: Very Low CCQ on P2p Link

I disagree with n21roadie. I don't think you have a Hardware problem. The issue is that you need more height to get F1 and preferably F2 above the Trees. More power is not the correct solution, although it may help for a short time. You need to raise each end roughly another 24 meters to make this a...

Re: Very Low CCQ on P2p Link

I've never used the Ligo Wave Calculator. I use Radio Mobile. In my experience the 'up to 60% of F1' is a dream. Anything into F1 is always a problem. So anything over a couple of meters tall in the middle of the shot - around 6.5 miles - is going to be into F1. Attached is the Radio Mobile Plot. On...

Check the VSWR on the antenna, cable and pigtail. If you don't have a meter, then swap the 1]Card, 2]pigtail, 3]LMR and 4]antenna in that order to see which one it fixes it.

Re: Very Low CCQ on P2p Link

Sounds like an obstructed shot. Are you clear on at least Fresnel 1 ? Look at it in Radio mobile, or maybe Google Earth and see what's in the way.

NV2 at 1slot and 18km may help a bit by controlling the lag on the link, but that's not the real solution. You need Clear Fresnel.

If you're changing the IP address, and you are connected to the router through IP then maybe you get disconnected when the IP Address is applied to the interface that you are connected through.

I had this problem a year or so ago when using PtMP or Broadcast. Switched to NBMA and it went away.

More recently I had a problem with NMBA using Mikrotik's in Bridge mode - same error. Replaced the bridges with switches and so far no further issue but it's only been a few days.
