CRS version of CCR1072-1G-8S+

I was really hoping that MUM would have announcement of a multi ( >2 ) SFP+ switch ( >2 )

I have multiple 10G SFP+ links for replication and don't want to buy a Cisco SG500x.

I know that the CCR1072-1G-8S+ is a viable option but it seems overkill !!!

Any hope of such a switch???

Re: Feature Request - LAC/LNS functionality

@macgaiver Can you explain how to do proxy LCP from mikrotik? ie how to forward PPPoE session? That is the component which appears tp be missing from LAC functionality. If I drop PPPoE into bridge with L2TP client, then there is no PPPoE termianation, if I run a PPPoE server then I cannot authentica...

Re: v6.35rc [release candidate] is released, new wireless package!

*) l2tp - added support for proxy authentication when receiving forwarded PPPoE sesssions; *) l2tp - added support for Hidden AVP, it is needed for proxy authentication; I'm presuming this only means that LNS functionality is working and that I still cannot use Mikrotik as a LAC to do Proxy LCP to a...

Re: Feature Request - LAC/LNS functionality

As far as I can see LAC works to the extent that an L2TPtunnel can be established to a Cisco LNS. ( >6.33.4 ) Unfortunately I cannot pass PPPoE sessions over the L2TP to the cisco yet. Will this happen? (When might this happen?) I'm currently about to start configuring a Cisco to act as a Mikrotik E...

Re: Feature Request - LAC/LNS functionality

Do You mean LAC functionality is working? ie I can authenticate as an L2TP client to a Cisco server (LNS)

What version is this working on?

Great news if it is working ;-)

Re: v6.19rc for CCR tests needed!

v6.19 is now available as the stable download however the RC special release links are still in place but lead only to the homepage.

I guess my confusion was in expecting the RC download links to be removed once the release was final. ;-)

I have v6.19 installed now, lets see how it goes...

Re: v6.19rc for CCR tests needed!

I can't download 6.19RC from the website

Re: RB1100 X2AH Bricked? USB to Serial Com Settings?

I'm having this issue with a number of RB1100AHx2 routers. I can avoid the issue by not upgrading the firmware but there is a concern that someone else might. I can 'resolve' the issue once the problem has occoured by forcing the backup boot loader I cannot however find a solution which makes firmwa...

Re: CCR - Secondary PSU

Any hope of getting PoE on the CCR1016-12G? We would really like to be able to use on some of our core sites since the RB110AHx2 are beginning to creak but without either putting in mains UPS (too inefficient) or voiding warranty (hard to sell to management) I don't see how we can do so. You have a ...

Re: What size of Maximum RAM I can use?

See attached image, > 90% of 2GB of RAM used, 404K BGP prefixes. No iBGP prefixes (yet). No IPv6 BGP prefixes (yet).

Looks like we'll have to buy Cisco, which is a shame since we just commisioned this box and an iBGP counterpart, each with 16GB of RAM, not realising how obsolete ROS had become...
