Re: Wireless issues

The signals you show are receive signals from 3rd party devices. The S/N ratios shown are the distance between these receive signals and the background noise. The CCQ is an percentage of package that make it from sender to receiver. The data rates is the result of a mix of how 'good' a link is (=> ...

Re: Missing images on facebook, newspapers, etc.

from my personal experience what i can tell you is if you are doing NAT 3 times or more then this problem will occur like
ISP>>your router(NAT)>>Customer CPE(Nat)>>customer Router(Nat)>>customer pc

keep the CPE or customer router in bridge mode and it should work fine

/ip firewall nat
add chain=srcnat action=masquerade out-interface=<interface to modem>
This rule is correct but i guess it should be there already as without this users after the mikrotik should not be able to access the internet

so the page at 10.0.0.1 should load without any extra config

Re: cpu uses 90-100% in 19-20 Hotspot users

it's simple
i was using layer 7 based traffic shaping
so when user was using a protocol that is towards the last of the mangle rule it used a lot of cpu

SOLUTION
i removed the mangle for the protocols that are not being used in our network

Re: v6 rc7 released

i figured out the issue
it was due to the layer 7 prioritization
disabled that and CPU load is not 4-5%
