Re: Winbox v3.16 released!

In 3.16 version of Winbox, i still have problems to connect to 5.26 version of RouterOS rbs: "ERROR: could not fetch index" What log can i provide to debug more? It is strongly recommended to read software changelog before an upgrade: Sorry i've now realized my reading error, i understod that in 3.1...

quickMOUNT pro Bracket .. how to block movements?

Hi, i can't find how to completely stop horizontal and vertical movements when using quickMOUNT pro bracket with, by example, LHG antennas or mANTBox sector access points. I usually tighten the blocking screws with a lot of effort, but anyway, anytime, the antenna could move a lot through the 4 dire...

I don't know if this will clear up your problem but it solved mine and made the password in the Security Profile window visible.
Thanks for your contribution, but this reply doesn't meet up with my post.

Passwords replaced with asterisks - maybe a winbox application's bug?

Hi, i would like to know how many users are experiencing this event and know if anyone can reproduce it in any way in order to send a complete report to Mikrotik. This "bug" overwrites the asterisk fields of a window - after clicking the "OK" or "Apply" button of that window - with asterisks in plac...

Re: Wireless scan list improvement request (maybe bug?)

Yep, Kickoleg, i know "it happens" & understand it's an human error; but i think it should not happen , in a dumb-proof system like mikrotik's one. I think the solution for prevent this type of mistake is simple to code; maybe it's not a "bug" in a strict way, but IMHO my advisory could be considere...

Wireless scan list improvement request (maybe bug?)

Yesterday, after a good installation on the top of a mountain, i forgot the station CPE of a point-to-point link with a single frequency in the scan-list, and leave to finally go home. My colleague, in the evening, checked the configuration of the link. He descovered my carelessness, and decided to ...

Re: 5.24: broken package for RB 951-2n

Hmm, also downgrading to an old package, gives a broken package error.. could this be an hardware issue? (well, at least chained to 4 routerboards right now).
Screenshot and supout attached.

5.24: broken package for RB 951-2n

Hi, i'm trying to update routeros from 5.20 to 5.24 on mine RB 951-2n (several of them); in all tryouts, i can't update due to "broken package error" in 5.24 package. Digging over this problem i've tried to install each package using "all package" zip files, and turns out that only the routerboard-m...
