Re: Where is db cleanup and maintenance info

A HUGE thanks to everyone helping. It looks like the db file is corrupted. I think that the .dump worked, so maybe hunting the duplicates from there might work although I'm still not sure my the maps and all config data was missing after I killed the db and then recreated the tables (from .schema) an...

Re: Where is db cleanup and maintenance info

Followed the link and learned a few things. 1 - Apparently, there is a object created for EVERY MIB entry for EVERY map item. 2 - If the same item appears on two different maps, they are treated as unique items. 3 - I have 21,000+ items in my objs table. 4 - Apparently, there is something about the ...

Re: Where is db cleanup and maintenance info

I REALLY appreciate the prompt response... Thanks. From the other post, it appeared that there might be a more in depth process. That said, I get a Primary key error as follows: SQLite version 3.7.14 2012-09-03 15:42:36 Enter ".help" for instructions Enter SQL statements terminated with a ";" sqlite...

Where is db cleanup and maintenance info

I need instructions on how to drop (or at least delete large portions) of the historical data.

The forum mentions a thread on database maintenance and cleanup procedures followed by the use of vacuum, but I cannot locate that thread.

This 2gb issue really needs some attention.

Polling MAX Threads and 2GB db issue

What is the default number of threads used by the poller ? Everything has been running fine, but now I added some more devices and I data on the map screens keeps disappearing randomly on various devices. It really looks like some sort of timeout or response time issue. The Dude server is an i7 mach...

Re: Dude 4b3 problems reading Netgear GA311 stats

Weird - I replied to this a while back and it didn't show up. The problem is that it never corrects itself. If the client PC is rebooted, I must go into the link settings and re-select the correct interface. Notably, the wrong interface just has a number of some sort listed instead of the readable n...

Re: Dude 4b3 problems reading Netgear GA311 stats

It doesn't update. I must manually re-select the proper link oid after each reboot of the client machine. Since all of the client pc's shutdown at night and boot in the morning, they must be manually corrected every morning. No amount of waiting will cause the link to start working.

Dude 4b3 problems reading Netgear GA311 stats

I have been running Dude 4.0b3 with great success (nice work !) for a number of months except for one problem. Since this is the ONLY version of Dude that I have ever used, I don't know if this issue exists in prior versions. The bulk of the watched node on my lan are WinXP and they are all working ...
