Audience and 12V power

Hi All, I've bought Audience recently. And to my surprise I realised that it didn't run from 12V power source. Although it's said to be " DC jack input Voltage - 12-57 V ". Actually, this is the first of my many Mikrotiks that doesn't want to run from 12V. Am I alone here? Tried to search ...

Re: v7.1rc3 [development] is released!

Hey, I got an Audience loaded with RC3 and WifiWave2. Wave2 package is here for about half a year. However, it seems to be very rough still. WifiWave2 doesn't seem to support clients in "station bridge" mode. I.e. proprietary extensions seem to be not in place for this driver yet - there's...

prefer static "catch all" Regex DNS over dynamic DNS lookup [SOLVED]

Hi, does anyone know what's the order of priority for Regex FWD DNS entries vs a static DNS sever lookup? I would like to foward all DNS queries to an offsite server. For that I created "catch all" static regex entry, i.e.: [admin@MikroTik] ip dns static> add regexp="(.*?)" forwa...

Hi All, sorry if it's noob's question. But I could findn't an answer myself. I've got IKEv2 VPN setup and running between two Mkrotiks. Client Mikrotik have dynamic NAT entries. It also has routing entry for the endpoint IP assigned by the headend Mikrotik. However, what strucks me is that there are...

Re: DHCP server cannot run on slave interface

I don't think it's doable in the way you imagined to do it. Thing is that there can only be one DHCP server in single L2 domain (there can be more than one but they need to be synchronized one way or another). But you can't divide your WiFi network to two L2 domains because you want to have single ...

This doesn't make much sense to me. You want to have clients separated but not separated? What do you want to achieve by using separate IP pools from same subnet on different radios? I've got two WANs (4G dongles) and I want different clients to connect to a different WAN at their discretion and no...

It's what it says, it doesn't make sense to have DHCP only on one port, when all bridged ports are connected together. DHCP server belongs on the bridge interface itself. Good point, indeed! One can never understand why such basic things can disappear from one's mind =) @lustyffh what you expecting...

There will never be a spectral scan for AC radio unless Mikrotik changes its business positioning. Don't you understand that spectral scan is a premium licensed feature from Qualcomm. If Mikrotik acquires such license it will no longer be competitive on the market. So far Mikrotiks are ~20% cheaper ...

OK, seems like this was a one-person show =) I found the root cause of the problem. Fortunately for the Mikrotik community - it wasn't been a Mikrotik issue.
