Re: Port isolation/Network isolation

Thanks all for the suggestion. So here is the current firewall filters. chain=forward action=accept src-address=10.10.10.0/24 dst-address=192.168.1.0/24 chain=forward action=drop src-address=192.168.1.0/24 dst-address=10.10.10.0/24 Having these two rules stops access from both networks. Shouldn't I ...

Port isolation/Network isolation

Hello all, I'm sure someone has already answered this but here it goes again. I've got a RB951 set up in the following way: eth1=192.168.1.0/24 eth2=10.10.10.0/24 What I want to do is isolate traffic in one direction. I want to block access from eth1 to eth2. However I still want eth2 to have access...

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

Hello all, Recently our CCR1036 has been acting strange. Everynight at 1am the CPU usage jumps from 1% to 20%. When looking at the CPU usage, it is showing 8 cores running at 100%. Under "Profile", I have 20% usage on Management. What features are classified as Management?? Also when this ...

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

Speaking of memory.

I've got a CCR running and the memory status has gone from 3734MiB to 2990.7 MiB in a matter of 3 days. Is this expected? Normal?

Software bug or Hardware issues?

Backup reliability

Can someone confirm? How reliable is taking a backup from a RB433 and simply importing it into another RB433?? Will the backup just work?? I've been told because of different MAC addresses on each board, some settings from the backup will not port over correctly, hence your new RB433 will not be rel...

Multiple VLANs on multiple Hotspot gateways

Is this possible? Currently I have 5 VLANs running on 5 different Hotspot gateways. All 5 Hotspot gateway are configured identical. Is it possible to just have 2 Hotspot gateway running with all 5 VLANS active? All I am trying to do is cut cost and the number of equipment but still maintain redundan...

Broadcast Traffic (Traffic Spikes)

Hi all, Lately I've been seeing consistant traffic spikes on one of my ethernet interfaces. It is one of my main links that my clients are coming in on. Normal traffic is about 20 Mbps but I see it spike up to 30-40 Mbps. The odd thing is, it's only on the TX side, so that tells me it's sending out ...
