Re: v6.46beta [testing] is released!

I may have the setup totally wrong, but ipsec tunneling seems to be bonkers with the v6.46beta44. The basic ipsec tunnel seems to accept only one policy - only that one which you tinkered with the latest. For instance if there are multiple policies then moving one around will "activate" only that on...

Re: v6.46beta [testing] is released!

With that beta series somehow I see only "wlan60-station: link-up" messages in the log, but no "link-down" ones. It is only a half of good to know information about the link state. Hope it is relatively easy fix to make.

The LHG 60G pointing to proper direction is impressively imprecise, which is strange with that beam forming and all. The link signal will cut off by only minor adjustments thus these "0.2 degrees left or right" are almost funny. What is the antenna pattern and how that device is using it?

According to some other posts around here the MT is writing their own wireless drivers and are not using stock ones found in Linux kernels. Basically a select set of Atheros chips is all they support, but they even do not reveal what actual chips they do support.

I've tested it on the backbone static IPv6 routing does work and I can make an IPv6 tunnel over IPv4 as well, but I am still a bit cautious to push it any larger - ROS quality is still too sporadic for that. Let them tinker with it a year or two.

The Watchdog Timer is broken for both v5 and the v6 series. Re: How to limit number of concurrent connections in Mikroti

I haven't seen that kind of functionality within ROS. It should be there, but I am afraid it is not.
Maybe it will get implemented under connection tracking?

Re: ch0/ch1...the polarity of sextant 5hnd

You can uncheck chain0 tx if you use it on v-pol only
You can uncheck it as much as you like, but according to the MT officials it does not work. "The ch0 is a must to have!"
