Re: need advice on multi-wan multi-office vpn

Thanks for your answers guys. Just couple of days i've decided to revise my network config in first post. And made eoip over ipsec but without bonding like you suggest :D I did 2 different eoips from one end and made them bridged on the other end (/24 network), but they show error in ospf log about ...

high console cpu on /interface monitor-traffic once

I am running script that uses /interface monitor-traffic $ifname once. I need current values of tx rx. When command ends there is console output and profiler shows up to 30-50% cpu usage on console (rb2011l-in). Is it cpu-intensive command or console output consumes cpu? How could i decrease cpu usa...

Re: two wan, l2tp on wan2 (routing problem)

same problem. I am having multiple wan and want to use each as lt2p/ipsec server. I am using pcc for marking incoming connections. I have tested with external client on windows using log rules in mangle and found that after first lt2p packet from client (incoming connection marked by pcc both-addres...

vpn perfomance on RB2011L

Firstly i wanted to ask about vpn perfomance on RB2011L v5.22 (one as client and another as server). It seemed strange - low cpu load on router and low speed over vpn (it was client-side). Then i realized that server-side router was bottleneck (cpu usage = 100%), so i've got an answer. I' ve tested ...

Re: Feature requests

It would be handy to set pcc values in percent (or probability) too. something like per-connection-classifier=both-address:30%.
The same for child queues in tree: limit-at=30% max-limit=100%

Re: qos + pcc on different bandwith interfaces

got an simple idea. I should divide parent queue that has max-limit = total of wan to child queues. This way i can max-limit them by corresponding interface bandwith. And even use global-xxx virtual interfaces with such childs. That's right? Go for tests...

qos + pcc on different bandwith interfaces

Good day. There are several posts on forum about qos + pcc but i didn't find an answer. My question is how to deal with qos on several interfaces (1 LAN and 2,3,... WAN). I am buiding first config. 1. I think that i can't use global-xxx virtual interfaces for queues because of different bandwith. So...
