I realize this is an old thread, but how did you get it to give an ip when the Mac is unknown?

Traffic Flow (NetFLow) question

I'm looking at using the Traffic Flow to transmit data for usage based billing. I have inspected the Traffic Flow streams coming from my MT router and it seems to have a pretty limited field set. Right now I'm getting these fields: 1 - In Bytes 2 - InPkts 4 - Protocol 5 - SrcTOS 6 - TCPFlags 7 - Src...

database format or scriptable export to CSV

I'm pretty new to user manager, but was wondering if it is possible to query the db via sql? Or alternatively, expert specific fields via command line to CSV? What I'm looking for is a way to export daily up and down traffic usage per username.

Just FYI...I did a cursory search and found it surprisingly hard to locate a decent 5 GHz combiner/splitter. Hyperlink has one, but the specs on it aren't particularly good. It only has about 15 db of isolation, and a 2:1 VSWR isn't great. You'll lose about 6 dB per channel using this. A circulator ...

To answer the questions above...yes I was using Nstreme2 hence the two radios on each board. To the second question, I used circulators so I could stay in the same band. Diplexers typically take two different frequency bands, combine them, then you need another diplexer at the other end to split the...

I just tried one of these last week on an AP that previously used NL2511's with great success. The 8602 was brand new....not old. As a 2.4 GHz AP it performed horribly. Only about 1/2 my clients even registered, and most of those were at very low receive signal levels. I put the 2511 back in and eve...

I've tried combining signals onto a single antenna( albeit in the same band at 5 GHZ) using what is called a circulator. A ciculator is sort of like a diplexor, but only allows energy to flow in one direction. They have three ports, an input or transmitter port, an antenna port, and an output or rec...

I have multiple towers with 3 sectors and a couple with 4. I have both configurations, some RB's with 3 radios on them and some with 3 seperate RB's with one radio each. The single board/multiple radio setup seems to work just fine until you reach about 30-40 subs on each sector. Then it is definite...

Bridge Traffic not showing in 2.9.10

I recently upgraded a couple of 532s to 2.9.10 and am seeing some strange things. I had a bridge which contained a couple of wirless interfaces operating in AP Bridge mode. When I upgraded, the bridge was still there but I had to add all the interfaces again. This was fine and I got it all working, ...

If you look back at the study I posted on this a few months ago, you will see that the power adjustment is NOT a 1 to 1. Since the cards don't put out 30 dBm this can't be. Stepping down the power in what seem to be 1 dB increments do not step the power down in 1 dB increments, but rather more than ...

Since upgrading to 2.9.6, I have been having problems with DHCP both with and without using the hotspot service. On two routers, I have the hotspot set up and running. Is the AM station agreeable to this? Typically with cell sites we had to "shroud" our antennas so as not to affect the AM transmission. This is not easy. Keep in mind that the the whole tower is used as an antenn for AM transmission. If they are using a 50,000 watt transmitter, you might be better o...

It's very simple...set up an IAS client with the sared secret. That is it. There are no special settings for it. IT doesn't need framed-ip or anything. Jst create the client with the IP and shared secret and it works. I have several working on IAS this way.
