Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

We are experiencing the same thing. Running 6.42.7 with DAC Cable from CRS317 to CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM. I had to go to a SFP 1G on both units for the flapping to stop. I had tried SFP+ DAC and SFP+ single mode fiber with the same issue. We have 8 CRS212 plugged into the CRS317 via DAC Cable with no is...

Re: v6.39.3 [bugfix] is released!

I have ran into an issue with DHCP. I have Xclaim Wireless access points and after the upgrade (ROS and Firmware) They will not receive an address. The DHCP server shows it offered the IP but the Xclaim will not accept the IP. Even after rebooting the Xclaim as well, it will not accept the IP addres...

Re: v6.39.3 [bugfix] is released!

Thanks!

I have never ran into this problem before across multiple different models. Adding the delay helped.

Thanks again!

Re: v6.39.3 [bugfix] is released!

Hey, After upgrading to 6.39.3, I was not able to do a /system reset-configuration skip-backup=yes run-after-reset=config.rsc and have the router reload the configuration that is in the config.rsc. I had double checked the .rsc to make sure there are no errors. I can copy and paste the config into t...

Re: RouterOS v6.27 released

Hey, can we please have the .torrent files back for ALL RouterOS. I don't believe that I am the only one that uses the .torrent to download RouterOS. I myself support multiple different hardware flavors and to download each file separately can be a pain.

Thanks!

Question about auto frequency and channel-width

Question, How does the channel-width 20/40mhz-ht-above and 20/40mhz-ht-below affected when the frequency is set to auto and the band is set to 2ghz-b/g/n? e.g. Frequency is set to auto, band is set to 2hgz-b/g/n, channel-width is set to 20/40mhz-ht-above, and country is set to united states. Will it...

Re: RB750 Routerboard Upgrade problem

Should be able to. I have upgraded 5.2 to 5.26 before without problems. (including firmware of course) From there, you can upgrade to 6.x if you want to run ROS 6.x. Personally, I had weird issues with the configuration (could be our scripts) when I upgraded to 6.x. I had rewritten our scripts to wo...

Re: RB750 Routerboard Upgrade problem

Essentially yes. ROS first then the RB firmware. The latest RB firmware is included in the ROS's. Being that you may have some current issues, you may want to check your RB firmware first to make sure it is at the latest before you do the ROS upgrade. After the ROS upgrade, do the firmware upgrade a...

Re: RB750 Routerboard Upgrade problem

I have had the same problem before with older RB750's. I had fixed it in 2 different ways. Option 1: Download the 5.26 mipsbe ROS and copy it to the RB750 and reboot to upgrade the ROS then made sure that the firmware was also updated. [System -> Routerboard -> Click the Upgrade button to upgrade th...

HELP!! Simple Queues

Hey, I am trying to create a Bandwidth Throttler router using a MikroTik. I have been digging through the forums trying to find an answer and have yet been able to come up with one. The problem that I am having is that traffic is not getting to the Queue. This used to work in 5.x and it does not now...
