Re: CCR1009 temperature "issue" cause reboot.

"so it can be surmised that C1442 and C1443 are in charge of the temperature monitoring of the CCR." Capacitors block DC, let AC pass and store energy. They would not be able to be in charge of temperature monitoring. Capacitors of that size are electrolytic (contain a paste) and if they ...

I have a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC - https://mikrotik.com/product/CCR1009-8G-1S-1SplusPC that is overheating and rebooting with the following in the log: "Number of temperature exceptions: 122" I saw this post - https://www.reddit.com/r/mikrotik/comments/e2xxa0/ccr1036_overheating_anything_i_can...

The wireless-fp package v6.35.2 is still there after upgrading to 6.37rc.
Trying to uninstall it doesn't work.

Re: Feature Request /31 Subnet

Implementing RFC3021 is long overdue. I for one simply do not use the Mikrotik /32 method because IP designs should avoid depending on proprietary features when a perfectly good RFC is available, suitable and supported by multiple vendors. I second the feature request and would add that any mention...

Agreed that it would be useful to have especially when peering in IXes so as not to propagate route flaps to other peers.

Re: Having an issue with GRE Tunnels on 6.22

next RotuerOS should have this issue resolved. Hi janisk, Thanks for the reply. Just to enquire about something. I was just trying 6.23rc2, and although I see that the GRE tunnels are in running (R) status. But no connections are establishing over the GRE tunnels. So I guess it's still a work in pr...

Having an issue with GRE Tunnels on 6.22

Hi all, I am currently having an issue with GRE tunnels on 6.22. I have around 20 GRE tunnels on it. On 6.21.1, the GRE tunnels were running fine, in the interface lists, it states the GRE status is running "R", but when I upgraded to 6.22, most of my tunnels are not running, doesn't have ...

Hi,

I would like to inquire if anything has changed for IPSec between 6.20rc7 and 6.20rc16?
It seems that when I upgrade to 6.20rc16 from 6.20rc7, using the same config. None of my IPSec sessions are establishing

Re: Some issues with my CCR1036-8G-2S+ and RouterOS

Have you tried nexthop-choice=propagate which will: "try to propagate further the nexthop received; i.e. if the route has BGP NEXT_HOP attribute, then use it as the nexthop, otherwise fall back to the default case"? "set-in-nexthop (IP address;) set gateway value to the specific IP a...

Hi all, By the way, just got a CloudCoreRouter 1036-8G-2S+ to handle my home's multiple 2x 1 Gbps lines, everything's mostly working fine. Here's the snippets of configuration for the BGP peer. The other endpoint is not controlled by me, and is not a Routerboard / RouterOS, but if I remember correctly, either a Quagga / BIRD server. /ip address add address=172.23.253.1/32 interface=gre-tunnel3-siska network=172.23.253.1 /ip route add d...

Re: Dual WAN Interface, VPN problem

Just to further elaborate the situation.

When I connect to the VPN on my RB2011LS on the 172.16.1.0 segment. When I ping my computers e.g. 192.168.88.11 and 192.168.88.12, I cannot ping them and also cannot access them.

Only when disabling Port 2, does the connecting and pinging work.

Mikrotik VPN Setup

Hi all, haven't bought a Mikrotik, but planning to do so soon. I'm thinking of getting a Mikrotik for setting up both a VPN server and VPN Client on 1 Mikrotik itself. I'm thinking to set up a PPTP / L2TP VPN server behind another router on a Mikrotik so that I could connect back to my home network ...
