Re: RouterOS 6.1 released

Anyone having trouble with routerboot upgrade? It shows I am out of date but upgrading does not change the current version. No error message, nothing in log.

I found on 6.0rc14 that I had to tell it to upgrade routerboot, then reboot the router.

Same on 2x RB751-2nHD and 1xRB2011-2nHD-IN

RB751G-2nhd - Bricked?

Hello, I was upgrading my RB751G-2nHD using the netboot it was succesfully uploading the netboot image to the device. About 1/2 way through eset / windows decided to re-enable the firewall on the PC which terminated the connection to the RB. The unit now does boot as it doesnt have the full applicat...

Re: Feature requests for watchdog timer

This now works with a 5 script runs delay before starting to check sites (allows links to be up before starting). Change : if (netcount > 5) do={ to whatever number you want to reflect the delay. I have got this script scheduled to trigger every minute (similar to the watchdog ping). If you dont wan...

Re: Feature requests for watchdog timer

After a suggestion from Mikrotik support, I have written the following script that will do the job. :if ([/ping 173.194.65.94 count=5] = 0) do={ :log info "Ping 1 (Google) Failed" :if ([/ping 23.62.98.216 count=5] = 0) do={ :log info "Ping 2 (direct.gov) Failed" :if ([/ping 64.4....

Re: Feature requests for watchdog timer

I am a +1 for the multiple ping addresses. One of the main reasons I bought this a MikroTik router was for the ping watchdog functionality (and the added configurabilty, but that was more difficult to persuade the wife with!). my Virgin Media modem kept crashing once every 24 hours ish and the solut...

IPv6 Firewall Setup Issues

Initially, I thought that these issues were user issues, however after testing to understand what the problem is, I think it is related to ROS6b2 as they are reliably reproducable. All configuration has been done through WinBox. I am running a RB751-2HnD and have implimented a he.net tunnelbroker IP...

IPv6 Firewall Counter Bug

Hello, I think this is a bug with ROS6b2 I have successfully made connections using both 6to4 and also he.net tunnelbroker (at the moment I prefer tunnelbroker although native from my ISP would be preferred still!) When I first created the firewall rules, each rule I added seemed to affect the count...
