Re: CRS328 POE and Ubiquiti unify AP

I tested ability to provide power via PoE to an Unifi AP AC Lite from CRS328
Works great both from 802.11af/at and passive!

Re: CRS328 POE and Ubiquiti unify AP

Why dont you have a look at the specs ?
So, according its specs, Unifi ap ac lite uses as well Passive PoE (Pairs 4, 5+; 7, 8 Return)...
So i guess it will work...
I read the specs, but I am interested in real experience of operating Unifi ap ac lite with CRS328.

Re: CRS328 POE and Ubiquiti unify AP

Mode B is used....
All MikroTik PSE uses the same PoE-Out pin polarity Mode B 4,5 (+) and 7,8 (-)
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:PoE-Out
Unifi AP AC Lite receives PoE power from CRS328? No problem?

Re: CRS328 POE and Ubiquiti unify AP

Ok, I think I found the answer: the CRS328 uses mode B pins for POE, the Ubiquiti AP (AC-Lite and AC-LR) use for 802.3AF use mode A pins (only) but can be powered with passive POE 24V on mode B-pins. The CRS328 can power an AP using passive POE on mode B pins. Now I just need to find out how to con...

Re: Wireless scanner results - what does /DP mean?

Wireless scanner reports some networks with /DP after the channel:
5280/20/an
5280/20/an/DP
what does it mean?
D - DFS (radar-detect)
P - Passive

Re: v6.40.8 [bugfix] is released!

If used in l2tp client "add-default-route=yes", then the routing table is not correctly created and VPN does not work (on ROS 39.3 everything ok). Example: ROS 6.40.8 l2tp client config: [admin@Dom-3G-Router] > /interface l2tp-client print Flags: X - disabled, R - running 0 R name="l2tp-vpn.site.loc...

Re: Powerbox Pro short circuit

Exactly the same problem I have on 960PGS. RoS 6.40.1.
I returned to version 6.39.2 and everything is fine.
