By upgrading to version 6.31 on an RB751U-2HnD the WiFi and sometimes the system too hangs or completely freezes . I was unable to create the supout.rif because of the system hang. (Firmware version is 3.24) I have fallen back to version 6.30.2 and there is now no problem at all. Please let me know...

on my routerboard 750GL the only thing i need to do is set the master port setting to "none" and my config works on routeros 5.22 .

Do you solve your problem ?

Hi all again, my setup, 14db it not priorities for best stability, it`s just my choice :D , but rate selection played a major role, and security profile in wireless section.

In my case the problem was solved installing the firmware 6.0 RC6 Interesting. I have some of this random reboots on my router weekly. This problems starts ( i believe ) when I upgrade my router to the 5.24 version. With the original 5.16 version i isn't have this problems. Interesting to see about...

But wich firmware routerboot do you have?
I have 2.41 firmware and 2.38 firmware.

All of this two versions run without problems on my routers.

We've a RB600 and a 2011LS rebooting randomly every 3 to 6 days after upgrading to 5.24. All other upgraded devices seem to work.
Same here on 5.24

If you make a PPTP interface specifically for that incoming PPTP user then you can simply limit the traffic in the forwarding filters based on a combination of inbound interface, src IP, destination IP etc.

I have the RB751U in my apartment, and it covers all of it. I can watch Full HD movies on my laptop, streamed from the other computer, so speed is good.

It will definitely be more powerful than the one you have now, because it has more output power. I use one in my apartment. The U and G versions are different only by G being the Gigabit port model. ...and G verison has 64 MB RAM while U has 32 MB. I use RB751G-2HnD at home and I am very satisfied ...

I had some bad experience with RB751U-2HnD, but after last firmware upgrade it's quite usable. It's not the fastest device I had, but it can push about 30Mbps of cifs/smb traffic and about 60Mbps http/ftp traffic over single thread. If you need more than that you should look for something else, but...
