Re: ROS 6.3 + Sierra 320U USB LTE. how do you make it work?

PiVi,

I have just used it with the stock Telstra firmware.

Noticed they are now badged "Netgear" but seem to still work without the directIP connection.

I'll check what firmware its running tomorrow.

Cheers,
Andy

RIP broadcasting 2 similar routes to same host

Hello, Apologies on the subject description! I am using RIP to route loopback addresses of a bunch of routers that are running MPLS. This has been working perfectly for a while now. I just added another router to the system, and added a /32 loopback address to it. I then noticed on neighbouring rout...

Re: LDP Neighbour Failure

Hi IPANetEngineer, The link is a licensed 18GHz radio. It supports jumbo frames, and can happily pass 2500 byte pings, with no fragmentation. It is running rock stable, as the back haul network between the sites happily runs at 1-2ms pings and can support over 350mbps throughput. The network runs RI...

LDP Neighbour Failure

Hi, I am having issues with an LDP dynamic neighbour dropping its listed addresses after approx. 10 seconds. On initial connection, all the neighbours addresses appear and I can happily pass traffic over that section of the network using MPLS VPN4. After a few seconds, the LDP neighbour drops all it...

Re: DHCP-relay in MPLS VRF

Hey,

I have come across the same dilemma...

Trying to relay DHCP over a routed MPLS network, from a windows DHCP server, to clients on VRF's across a WAN.

Is there any fix to this? Seems to work fine on Cisco hardware, just stumped on the Mikrotiks.

Cheers,

Andy

ROS 6.3 + Sierra 320U USB LTE. how do you make it work?

Hello, I cant seem to make a Sierra Wireless 320U USB LTE dongle work under ROS 6.3 I had no issues with the card under 5.xx, it appeared as a ppp device, and has worked perfectly on many deployed routers. Since upgrading to ROS 6.3 it now appears as an LTE device. I cant " Scan " or get " Info " fr...

Re: RB751 and Sierra AirCard 320U

Hi darthtanion, Not sure if you have resolved this yet. I have just been playing with an AirCard 320U and have had good success with one in a RB751 running 5.20 If you just create a new PPP session, you should see a new USB interface "usb2" within the new PPP session. Select "usb2" and then set "Dat...
