Well I just confirmed it ... DUDE on the free ROUTER OS is crippled because of the 1mbit traffic cap. With well over 100 nodes with almost all doing snmp traffic graphs and other custom stuff limits its ability to properly monitor the network as I did with the 4.0beta until I can find a work around...

Its been out replacing Beta 2 for months and I understand that one of the big reasons was to solve the not loading session (or at least some of them) bugs.

Just set two src-nat rules one that matches LAN1 IP Range and src-nat to WAN1 IP, and then a second one for LAN2 and WAN2.

Also standard firewall rules for the networks and if you want to prevent LAN 1 & 2 communicating.

Remote access should be fine to either via winbox etc.

The 172.16.0.0/12 is a private space but not the "Shared" space dedicated for CGN. They may be using CGN or just regular NAT but if you have addresses from 192.168.0.0/16, 10.0.0.0/8 or 172.16.0.0/12 then that is also private space and would not allow normal internet packets to get to you....

I have had previous problems when upgrading and skipping a version in the middle.

I would advise upgrading to 4.17 first before 5.25 unless you are happy to blow it away and in that case maybe netinstall it.

check in the log. when it reboots it should tell you the reason it decided not to install the packages

Also just double check that you have the mipsle packages as I believe the 100 series boards were little endian.

The three files are one RAR file split into three parts.

You need all three downloaded but most tools will automatically unpack all three together so if you double click on all of them you will likely end up with three copies of the compressed file.

I have been very impressed with the RBGroove A-2Hn and the ZyXel EXT-108 antenna.

I am using them for an external deployment and really impressed with range and propagation.

Its also nice to have the sturdy mount on the side of the antenna.

I don't know about your specific error.

However have you tried a netinstall? that should reinstall a fresh working copy of router os and then if it continues it may point more towards hardware issues.

Have you added the Wlan1 interface (or whatever you have named it) into a bridge with your lan interfaces. It should be found in System > Stores under disks If it hasn't come up after the upgrade try shutting down the mikrotik and then pull out the power. Then plug it back in and see if it appears. That display isn't showing you an IP Address probably because Address Acquisition is set to DHCP.

Try setting it to PPPoE and see if it changes / shows you your dialler settings / status.

Do you really use that many MIPS-LE devices? Usually 90% of network consists of similar architecture. The simple answer I can give you is maybe. The Routerboard page on the device says it does have PoE. The Quick Guide said 18-24V. The Brochure says 9-28V.
