On some HP support I found comparative table with most used command on Cisco and three model of HP...

I know what is VLAN, i have CCNP. But for me is very hard to configure VLAN and trunk on MT. I just need some comparative preview between Mikrotik and Cisco configuration.

Re: how many mAP 2n devices can connect to each other?

I understand. I thought so.
But if you put the PoE 48V 2A, it would be 96W and it would be safe enough
There will be max 4 devices in the chain. So I think there will be problems. cable length between each will be max 10m.

thanks a lot

how many mAP 2n devices can connect to each other?

Hi all,

how many mAP 2n devices can connect to each other in the chain?
I plan to be the first device powered from 48V 2A. And behind him I'd put another 4 map 2n in the chain.
Is it ok and will do so?

thanks in advice

Re: L2TP/IPSec problem

I think it is not possible to shift public IP address with this CISCO router on mikrotik. The only way you do that is to CISCO switch into bridge mode and that way you get to MikroTik public address.

Re: L2TP/IPSec problem

Yes it's problem, that what you have is a router which should put in bridge mode to on your MikroTik which is behind a router got a public address. but since the condition is almost impossible to put into bridge mode, asking the operator or provider that you replace it with a modem. Now that you hav...
