Re: set wlan3 frequency same as scanned frequency

you only have to associate a routeros client to an ap once. so long as the ssid remains unchanged, the client will always follow the ap on the freq, that way you only need to update the ap side of the link( and all the clients will follow

Re: Mikrotik 3g watchdog

As Normis wrote about usb power-reset: No. Currently only SXT and Omnitik has this. (topic: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=57456 ) That's bad, that RB751 and even 433UAH don't have the feature... - and then I will have a reliable reboot. I'm seriously thinking about doing a short...

IP address on the hotspot interface (same interface as the hotspot server is setup on) 2. Nat r...

OSPF in Routeros not working

Ive been having an agrument with afellow wireless usergroup member regarding the best way to do routing on routeros. He insists that the OSPF implementation in routeros is flawed and that we should use static routing instead. Our network is not very big at present with only 3 high sites, so static c...

shaping outgoing pppoe clients

I have a RB450. One of the ports on it is connected to my adsl modem ( in bridge mode ). My RB establishes two different pppoe sessions with 2 different service providers through the same modem. The one account is uncapped, the other is limited to 3GB per month. The adsl line is hard limited to 512K...

create access lists with mangles that set the routes for your dude server and then create static routes using that routing mark. Then no matter what bgp, rip or ospf does to your routing tables, the route to your dude server will always follow the same path.
