Re: v6.45.8 [long-term] is released!

... it's a regular firmware (6.45.7 in our case) plus bugfixes and improvements only, without adding new functionality I suspect the long term version does include new functionality, but only once it has been vetted via the stable release Well, if you upgrade from 6.44.6 (previous long-term) to 6.4...

Re: v6.44rc [testing] is released!

SFP is still flapping (link ok - no link - link ok - no link - link ok...) on a RB4011iGS+. The SFP is a Cisco module working at 1 Gbps. I have no problem with the same SFP module on a RB3011UiAS. The only way to make it stable is disconnecting and connecting the fiber manually. It lasts until the M...

Re: Feature Request: WOL For Winbox

Hey please! After 6 years, still not WoL in Winbox. It is just a button (for example in the DHCP Server/Leases menu, It would be great to wake computers by clicking on the MAC, mouse right button, WAKE!).

Re: Assigning to LAN public addresses given by ISP

After a year I realized I could use a NAT 1:1.

Not sure if it will work, but it could be tried.

Yes, please, I don't want to write the MAC, with a button it would be very easy.

Re: Changelog RouterOS 6.7

There is a bug with PPPoE client in RouterOS 6: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=78875 Basically the <<AC-Name=''>> folder in the request must be sent even if it's empty, like other routers do, but Mikrotik doesn't. It's very important because some modems cannot be used. And it's an...

Assigning to LAN public addresses given by ISP

Every time I dial a PPPoE connection to my DSL provider, I receive a different public IP address. For example, if I dial 8 PPPoE connections, I receive 8 public dynamic addresses, like these: pppoe-out1 gives me 80.80.80.2 pppoe-out2 gives me 80.80.80.3 pppoe-out3 gives me 80.80.80.5 pppoe-out4 give...
