Re: virus signature database settings idea

Ugh, the return of "dobby" If you cannot add to the conversation, please don't waste any space adding useless unrelated pablum. And FYI, Lanner makes a packet processing engine card for ids/ips, dpi, and crypto based on the exact same tilera cpu as the ccr1036. so OP's poorly translated question abo...

Re: RB2011UAS SFP Autonegotiation error

Gig-e by nature is auto-negotiation, you cannot force it's mode, doing so will cause the link to not be stable/fail.

Clean your optics with alcohol swap, check fiber optics, and replace sfp if need be.

Re: webfig in IE 8?

If webfig is no longer compatible with IE8, please add browser detect code and block webfig so the user is not presented with error messages.

Re: RB1000 random shutdown

No, I was thinking of the rackmount version that has the power brick inside.

Unfortunately without knowing more about your setup or error conditions, it's impossible to say what the error is.

Re: RB1000 random shutdown

Possible failure of the power supply unit inside the box, if the log doesn't yield any useful information.

Re: rb2011 reset button

Can you please append this information in the Quickstart and manuals/wiki?

I had to find this out the hard way.

Re: LLDP

I would also like to add my voice for LLDP support. Our Avaya environment is dependent on LLDP support and this would be a great inclusion to the overall network edge.

Re: Send notification email when DHCP pool nears exhaustion

Wow, that's more than I was expecting to get back, thank you.

And I did lower lease time to recycle address space quicker.

Thanks again,
Andrew

Send notification email when DHCP pool nears exhaustion

Hello all,

I'm wondering if there is some kind of hook or way to derive DHCP pool usage to come up with a script and send email alert to admin when, say, 95% of the pool is exhausted.

Anybody gone through this before?

Thanks,
Andrew

Re: iOS6

I registered just to say that I'm seeing the same issue too on 5.22 with a 2011UAS.
