Temporary workaround: set a max cache TTL less than that of the offending records (say, 10 seconds). They still DO NOT expire exactly at 10 seconds for some reason, but rather around 20 seconds, but they are refetched correctly when requested again.

I would check the quality of the connection of both devices to the wifi network. If there are many retransmissions due to bad connections, they could hamper the bandwidth and latency considerably. Even more so with small packets.

No, it is not a bug. It is actually mentioned somewhere in the wiki. Fasttrack bypasses some sections of the Firewall engine (part of which is mangle) and this makes it incompatible with some features that look inside packets, like pcc (which is based on source/destination addresses/ports).

Have you tried to disable one of the chains? I have seen difference in the performance of some clients with hAP AC in 2.4 GHz when one chain is disabled. With all three enabled, some clients would not even connect or the connection would be unstable.

Thanks guys! So it is preferrable to tag at the switch chip if possible to offload the CPU, otherwise create vlan interface(s) on each physical interface and bridge the same vlan interfaces together. But what about the wireless part above?

Version 6.34rc6 has been released. Changes since previous rc version: *) pppoe - fixed compliance to RFC4638 (MTU larger than 1488) again; Nope. Upload test results 20Mbps on every device looks very suspicious to me.
I would say that your IPS put limitation for your upload traffic.
Hammer clearly states that he has a 20mb/s upstream from ISP. What he cares about, is clearly the downstream.

Is it just my idea or is 2,5 Gb/s of peak forwarding traffic a little low for such a machine? I mean, what would it take to forward 10Mb/s? Edgerouter PRO claims 8Mb/s with much less horsepower.

RouterOS 6.8: RB751 does not boot after Routerboot upgrade

I am also having this problem with my RB751. Tried to reset it and it worked. I reconfigured it and the same occured: during boot, it gets stuck before the wireless is on and does not get an IP via DHCP (as it is supposed to), even though the ethernet lights are on and ethernet 1 is blinking.
