Re: Mikrotik causes worldwide net instability!?

Be aware this really isnt a ROUTEROS issue other than its possible to send info thats not sane. The bug is in the older cisco IOS's running on some routers. If they update their IOS, (may require memory upgrade on some models, EXPENSIVE!), the issue is non existant. This ONLY affected cisco routers ...

Re: RB Crossroads - superchannel license

I did, they want ME to provide them with the documentation from the countries in question...... They need to research this themselves if they are going to lock things down as far as allowed frequencies in various countries. We have a couple of fixed links in other countries that won't work under 3.2...

Re: RB Crossroads - superchannel license

as usual, if you do have proper permissions from your government to use these additional (outside FCC?) frequencies, let us know and we will give you this.
We do, and use these outside the US in a couple of cases.

How can we arrange to get this?

Re: RB112 Slow 100% CPU

I had to backgrade it, very hard to do any commands.

I did notice the Wlan interface didnt show on the interface list.

Almost impossible to execute any commands.

Re: RB112 Slow 100% CPU

It had just a simple ip address on the LAN and WAN ports, nothing
special. No DHCP running, etc. Had an SR5 Ubiquiti radio in it.

Simple static default route etc.

RB112 Slow 100% CPU

RC1 on a RB112, with an SR5 ubiquiti radio. Radio interface doesnt
show up, unit runs 100% cpu and is very very slow.

Backgraded, all well. Was on 2.9.44 running fine for a couple months.

All peers are directly connected, no multiple hops.

Again 2.9.38 this happens rarely, its quite often with the latest.

IBGP issues with 2.9.39 up

Hi, I have a setup using BGP with 4 or 5 peers. It runs fine, but
randomly the BGP drops between routers, along with the routes.

I backgraded to 2.9.38, and its far more stable. It takes time
to show up. Using routing-test for this test setup.

Any suggestions?

Signal with Beta

I've tried to find this answer, how do you add signal with the beta versions to the label, or elsewhere?

OID is blank if I try to select one.

Yep all has been well for some time now with routing-test.
I was testing this from 2 non critical points and saw the
issues with BGP. They all sync up nicely now with routing-test.

FYI, 2.9.28 still has this issue, lose power and the BGP doesnt
always reconnect. Multiple peers in use.

BGP on 2.9.27

BGP still has minor issues on 2.9.27. If you lose power on one of the units, it doesnt always reconnect and get routes. It requires playing with (removing and installing the peer, or rebooting the other side also). This results in isolated parts of the network sometimes up here. Any ideas or is this ...

Mickey Im, not, but I've had issues with the ufl connectors
and use only the mmcx on the ubiquiti's. Ufl's seem to not
like condensation.

Also have this issue, any link goes down for a sec and BGP goes to
"unconnected" upstream and stays there. Have to restart almost all the routers feeding it to get it to come back...ANNOYING!! PLEASE guys fix this.
