Re: Policy Routing Broken in Beta 9

Was I wrong to think that routing marks make sense only in prerouting chain, since after that packet is past the routing decision?

Re: Policy Routing Broken in Beta 9

Policy rules based on adresses and such seem to be ok, problem are the routing marks. Marks are being ignored in both routing and policy rules.
I hope it will be fixed in next release.

Re: OpenVPN

I have tested it for a few moments, I also had a problems connecting in and out, but then I noticed that Mikrotik uses OpenVPN via TCP not via UDP which is normally default. When I changed to TCP on the other side, it partialy worked - I connected but then it got stuck somewhere after that. I could ...

Re: things broken in beta9

Then I might not be right at all ;), question than might be where the conversion occurs. According to what I understood you before, I tried to nest one more foreach enumeration into the code, but that always resulted in crash of the console. However since we already established that it is a bug in b...

Re: things broken in beta9

As for arrays in arrays, I think everything in console is string based, there are no objects and/or objects in objects. I think I was partialy right, following output is from beta9: [admin@MikroTik] > :foreach i in="a,b,c,d" do={ :put $i } a b c d That means that foreach enumerates items separated b...

Re: things broken in beta9

As mrz said, I have noticed it also, correct output should be: [admin@Icarus] > :foreach i in=[/interface find type=ether] do={ :put $i } *1 *2 *3 *5 but it is: [admin@MikroTik] > :foreach i in=[/interface find type=ether] do={ :put $i } *1;*2;*3;*4;*5 I think it is because find separator was change...

Re: things broken in beta9

you have to set up variables before you use them
I have read about that, but how does it apply here?
Following script works just fine:
:foreach i in=[/interface find type=ether] do={ :put $i }

I think variables are out of the question.

Re: API docs

Thanks, specifiing .id in /print does not seem to work (i'll get argument error ), at least not in beta9, however since I am more interested in getting all the fields of all the records (like getall), it is still almost exactly what I need. Only thing I am missing in what /print +detail shows, are t...

Re: Api RouterOSv3

Only information I found is in this thread, this other thread, and of course the wiki. No extensive list of commands does not seem to exist (if you don't count what is on the wiki).

things broken in beta9

"Scripts" are not working in beta9: [admin@MikroTik] > :foreach i in=[/interface find type=ether] do={ :put [/interface get $i name] } Script Error: missing required values invalid item number Problem seems to be in 'get' command. Routing marks also do not seem to be working, marks are set on packet...

Re: API docs

To continue my previous post, after playing with /get for a moment, I think there has to be a better way than plain call of /get with .id. It returns all the fields of selected record with their names and values in single string response (=ret=), separated with commas. The string is not escaped in a...

Get/set

I have not seen mentioned anywere how to get or set specific fields. So far I have guessed: /ip/firewall/get =.id={id from getall} which displays most common fields from a record. However what if I want to get some field like comment, routing-mark, etc... . I have tried a few things, like adding ano...

Re: API docs

you cannot see graphing results using winbox. winbox is graphical representation of console, everything that can be done in console can be done in winbox and vice versa. so, yes, one who wrote that you can build your own winbox really meant that. graph results can only be seen though web browser. I...

Re: API docs

Thanks for the answer, I was asking to make sure that I have not overlooked anything. However I have read sentence on the wiki "The API is a way to create your own versions of Winbox", not that I want to, but doesnt it suggests that it should be possible to do anything that is in WinBox with the API...

Is it possible to request or listen for graph data via API?
