How do I allow localhost traffic in firewall?

How do I allow local traffic to the host (ie. ping self) while having a drop all traffic at the end of the input firewall chain? In Linux I would normally accept traffic from "lo" to allow host to ping itself. However there's no lo-interface in MikroTik and traffic to own ip seems to inste...

Try disable the firewall in windows.

I have that to and with disable firewall con i connect
As I noted, the exact same issue exists in Winbox under Wine in Linux. No firewall.

I have the same issue here.

Brand new CCR-1036. Winbox sees it but hangs forever when connecting to HW/MAC address. mactelnet cmd connects to same HW address without problems.

This is on Ubuntu 13.10 btw.

I'm trying to setup the CCR1036-12G-4S using the SFP ports but no matter what settings (auto-neg on/off, fixed speeds and duplex, sfp-rate) or gbics I throw at the ports, I'm unable to get a link in the other end.
