If i do both, it sends and receives, and i can see the traffic, but the test results is not the same as when i do send or receive ...

IPSEC Tunnel issues until reboot.

Good Day, We seem to be having a problem with some ipsec tunnels on several devices in the field. They all terminate their IPSEC tunnel to a Cyberoam device. The setup is pretty straight forward, lan connection with sine static wan ip. IPSEC in tunnel mode. We configure the VPN and it comes up, no p...

Re: Src-nat and Mangle with PBR

So I managed to solve this problem sort off. At least improved the situation. I decided to mark connection on incoming connections on each wan connection, that way all incoming connections will leave via the correct wan interface. This meant all port fowards (dst nat) leaves correctly and started wo...

Re: IPsec Presharekey successful but no ping / route

There will be no route visible if you do ipsec, only if you do iptunnel and then you have to add it. Under your IPSEC Policy, under action tab, you should have tunnel selected. Have a look under Installed SA's, do you see the key's exchanged? there should be 2 lines in there, with the source and des...

Src-nat and Mangle with PBR

Hi, I am trying to solve a problem that seems fairly basic to me. I have 1 Router RB3011 It has 2 Wan connections. Lets give them IP's: connection1: 1.1.1.1 connection 2: 1.1.1.50 Each IP has a wan subnet on it, the one has a /29 and the other a /30 connection 1: 2.2.2.0/29 connection 2: 2.2.2.12/30...

Re: Device can't communicate RB951G-2HND

same issue with Samsung TV and this router, no fix so far that i am aware of. I think someone narrowed it down to the device not wanting to talk to the bridge, if you do not have it bridged it works, but as soon as you join the port to a bridge it stops working. Might be worth it to give that a try,...

Multi Wan problems

Hi, I have some problems with Multi-WAN on a mikrotik. Currently running 6.13, in the process of changing it to 6.15 Running 2 PPPOE wan connections. Re: Dealing with High Signal to Noise

if i bump the TX power back up to around 10 i get a good signal, but the signal to noise go up also. Does this mean to noise is introduced by my own radio? The noise floor is -118dBm with the better signal and higher signal to noise i get around 14mbps. How do you normally test for, or deal with a h...

Dealing with High Signal to Noise

Hi Everyone, I am having a problem with a slow connection, and i think the problem is due to a high Signal to Noise ratio. I have gathered this from research online mostly as i do not know much about mikrotik wireless, nor wireless in itself, so please excuse any ignorance. I can post the hardware d...
