Any chance you are running ROS on ESXi? As we have exactly the same issue... But testing on KVM it goes away.. We have a ticket open at the moment Ticket#2013091366000821 regarding this, but as usual i'm still waiting for some level or response from MT.. We have even dropped the offer of payment for...

Has anybody been able to get RouterOS 6.1 on XenServer running, we have multiple versions of 4. and 5. with no issues, it actually more stable than ESXi. Hi, We have exactly the same issue.... After a period the 8775 cards lock up, then watchdog reset no longer works.. We have 5 411AH routers in test with 4.9 and 4.10 firmware.. Just looking up the boards. With our ALIX/USB Dongle solution when the watchdog reboots the router it power cycles the USB....

Since the upgrading to 3.23 no 3G modems work.. USB ports 1 and 2 nolonger show, log states unable to aquire serial port.

I have tested with E220's and E169's alll working correctly with 3.17..

Also tried with fresh clean install no change.

There is another way.. In DHCP-Client Turn off Add Default Route.. In Routing add a route using the Interface as the Gateway instead of a IP address. This way you can specify a cost.. Already checked this.. The endppoint is for a company with appox 100,000 employee's in the uk... I have checked and double checked.

I have no rules in the Firewall Forward table.

The stange thing is the problem is not there in 2.9.50 only once upgraded to 3.0 or 3.1.

Triac,

You need to create policy rule under routing...

So i.e

Rule 1 SRC=X.X.X.X lookup routing table x

Then in the routing table..

table x dst=0.0.0.0/0 gateway=DSL1

We used to be able to get a package created to change the html landing page of the router with our own contact details and logo.. Linking the license to MT.

New Feature Request. Interface Matcher in Routing Filter

We have a massive requirement to be able to match against interface in the filter in the new routing package.. Currently we have a project that requires a deployment of 35 Routers out in the field.. This would be so helpful and im sure would be very easy to do.

I am trying to implement failover from PPPOE dsl to PPP Dialup, How to I change the the cost of the 0.0.0.0/0 route for the PPP Dialup from 1 to 2 or more??? If i have the PPPOE Session live and i then enable the PPP Dialup it will always dial when the dynamic PPPOE interface is up as the route 0.0....

It would also be good on the Parent List to have the option to filter to the current map.

The same could be said when generating graphs, the ability to filter to a map or type of device...

This would make life easier.. We now have 3600 ish devices monitored using The Dude.. :-)

We are quite sucessfully support 2500 Users on 2x 2.8 GHz Machines in a VRRP Setup???

It really depends on the setup and what you are trying to do, how many queues etc... MT Works very well when configured correctly.

Quite simple.. So I can create a group for a customer under Admins, that for example only has access to certain maps, thus not showing all the other maps. I envisage being able to have maybe a permission tab on the Map Setting or have the ability to add maps to the group with the cascading arrows.. ...

When I linked to http://www.mikrotik.com/dude/ it did not redirect...

It worked tho is if went direct to /thedude.php..

Could be our ISP's transparant proxy playing up.. It does sometimes..

This really needs to be a little more granular.... Especially when you are storing Winbox Users and Passwords in the Dude... For example created a Read Only account, but the use can ten still right click and connect to the router... Is there a way to get Dude to prompt for the username and password ...

Is there anyway to change the timeout on the upgrade process? We have a few boxes on heavly loaded links and trying to upgrade them can be tiresome as it will keep timing out.

The ablity to be able to either set multiply snmp community names or map level community override.

When adding the same node to differnent maps why is the device being polled twice under two sessions, is it not possible to add it from a central list?
