Nothing was modified for users. I did switch PHP version to make search work and notifications was FW issue. Forum Cache was cleaned. That could had possibly messed up session, but that's all.

Presuming that user/pass is the same for that ready-only dude user and the device to which you want to connect. Then you can add custom tool which uses [Admin.Name] [Admin.Password] variables. There variables are for currently logged in used login credentials.

What backup do you mean exactly? TheDude does not have option to encrypt it's backups.

From what device amd TheDude version are you trying to export your data?

Yes. A while ago new notification type "execute on server" was added. Which allows you to write ROS scripts in there to use various tools on host device side. That includes option to send sms that way.

If windows have telnet client installed then it should work.

Alternative is to add additional tool and use telnet through putty for example:

You can configure those details in Services tab of that device for entries to which you want different behavior. Disable notifications in device polling tab. Then in Services tab double click on service and change settings in notifications tab.

I have not noticed such problem with adding data sources to charts in latest dude versions. After a quick retest, just to be sure. In v6,39rc latest builds there were no issues with these actions.

You need to pull down that small locking mechanism on bottom of the sfp cage with some tool. It holds down the module. When it's in lowered position then you will be able to remove the module.

It would be good to check what exactly is hogging that core. You can generate supout file on device and send it to support@mikrotik.com and we will take a look at it.

Compatibility with Adtran brand OLTs was not confirmed by us, so we do not have configuration examples unfortunately. However I will try to get some info from people who did test this combination.

Just a sec. Are all fixes until 6.38rc37 are included in 6.37.3, and if we already have installed some of 6.38rc version basicly we have to do downgrade to 6.37.3 But if 6.38rc37=6.37.3 than we should do noting :) This release for The Dude side of things is just a bug fix for current release chain....

We found this bug also, it has been reported for fixing. It triggers not only on reboot, but also after some while a day or two while system is working.

Default dir in files is now automatically generated by server. It creates symlinks there of default files(img, mib, etc). This way it easier to avoid corrupted default server content and also it pretty much saves space that way. Your custom files can be stored in files dir or any sub-dir that you cr...

Upgrade to version that is any of currently running ones: v6.36.x, v6.37 or v6.38rc and you can then use your ROS admin for The Dude.

CCR microSD slot performance is not to great, at least per our tests it is not good enough for The Dude server storage. I would try again with some high speed usb3.0 flash or drive. Also in best case with latest v6.38rc build on the device, to have all of the latest db performance tweaks.

Possibly there is some problem with server if it constantly creates load just on one core. It should be able to utilise up to 3 cores for various tasks.

One thing that was not mentioned in presentation is that this one will also support dude server package. uSD slot on it also provides decent r/w speed for db storage on microSD card.

Various things were changed in ROS and that broke old The Dude version ability to upgrade ROS devices and monitor some things. Only new v6.xx servers can perform these tasks now.

Check if disk path has not changed. By data amount that has been queued it almost seems that no data has been written into db.

In v6 builds at the moment there are no way to move devices between maps without losing the historical date of the monitored device. When we finish work on server side cli, then adding one and the same device to multiple maps will be much easier task.

That is currently not possible. This is one of the things that will change with CLI support. It will be possible to assign one device to multiple maps and it wont be tied down to one map as it is now.

Create a support ticket for this case. I'd like to check if we can get those maps back.

Usually that did help with map not loading. One other thing that comes in mind would be to reload dude db backup or try reverting to previous version to check if maps show up there.

I suggest to recheck again with v6.37rc build. This version has fix for SFP+ interface ddmi refresh problem. You will get better info there.

To check if either module or cable are problematic pretty much the fastest way is to retest them with some spares if you have some available.

CSV export button in client creates table of data that is displayed in that specific panel/window/tab. It cannot be used to export device config. That is already doable with sub-map element. Which will turn Green/Orange/Red depending on device status in map which is attached to it. It also acts as shortcut to that map. Or did you mean this in a different way?

I can't say that I have seen or heard of such problem caused by The Dude server package. If that is just test router then I would recheck this again with most recent v6.36rc build. If that does happen again then generate supout file before uninstalling the package and send it to support@mikrotik.com

Download latest client from our download page and reinstall it manually. I think that was the version where we started work on moving client update side to cloud. And this first build didn't contain all of the needed changes, so it cannot update it self to most recent builds.

Due to the default configuration firewall which drops all input on wan interface you can't do that. That is just a transceiver for it alone there is no drivers needed. As long as SFP+ adapter in which you plan to use it has no SFP vendor lockin enabled it should be fine.

Device must be reachable over ip level from The Dude server host or else server wont be able to monitor/discover the host.

If snmp is enabled on those devices the issue that you have could possibly be related to this bug:
* Auto-discovery tool has problems with typical homeAP/CPE setups that has snmp enabled. (only one of many devices gets discovered. Due to identical LAN networks.);

Problem should be partially fixed in v6.36rc19 and newer builds. Atm server no longer crashes on vacuum process if there is not enough space in system disk, it just stops the vacuuming process. Other part of the problem that is fills up system partition we still have to check.

If that would be that case you would most likely see outages on other monitored devices also. You can try to upgrade it to CHR 60day trial license for test. Before that just take a snapshot of that vm, as after 60 days when trial runs out it will lose ability to upgrade to newer ROS builds.

Checked on ESXi CHR and The Dude server does not seem to have that problem there. Have you tried deleting the dude dir and let server recreate it a new? Not that you should create dude backup before this experiment.

You are trying to use old the dude server package. It is not supported in v6.xx ROS builds. New builds however have support only for: x86/CHR. Tile and ARM platforms.
