Re: RB493G Performance Issue

I've stripped out all mangling, I've removed the queues, still no change in performance. CPU utilization is now <4% and never goes any higher. Re: RB493G Performance Issue

unfortunately for me, no windows in my configuration. The device doing the monitoring is a hardware device provided by the US FCC. The other computers are IOS or Mac OS X, I've tested over ethernet and via the wifi hotspots (RB951s) plugged into. I'm not expecting 250MB, but I'd like at least 150 or...

RB493G Performance Issue

I have had some performance issues that have come to light and trying to figure out what has happened. My cable modem has been upgraded recently to a 300MB/20MB, and this brought the issue to light as when I wasn't seeing anywhere close to the DL speed I started testing. Right now, I'm getting rough...

Re: Distributing IPV6 from a central router

I have an address assigned to my WAN connected router, and it has an address.

All my computers are getting assigned addresses from that.

only my mikrotik 951s aren't. Adding ::1 there doesn't do anything (it shows up as invalid)

I have 1xRB493G and 3x912UAG-2HPnD providing Wireless to the site. My RB493G is my firewall/switch that everything is connected to. 6.31 'check for updates' thinks 6.31 is an update

Hi - I have multiple Mikrotik devices. One is a 493G and then three 912UAG-2HPnD All of them with 6.31 running on them think that when I 'check for updates' that 6.31 is new and offer to download and install. This breaks my package script that checks to do the auto-update method The script is: /syst...

Ugh. really? This doesn't work? I just bought this in a pre-bundled solution from a vendor. This isn't supported? someone should really document that as it isn't set anywhere. Just got the first one running. Bought it from this vendor: http://www.ispsupplies.com/MikroTik-Dual-Band-Indoor-802-11ac-Ac...

Ah. I figured out. The Auto-Config was adding some parameters that I wasn't using, and that seemed to cause it. Once I got on via MAC I was able to turn that off and it grabs an address like expected.

Transparent Proxy + RouterBoard 493G + MicroSD =?

I'm attempting to enable a transparent proxy on my RB493G on Mikrotik 6.27 software. The Routerboard 493G sees the MicroSD. I can format it ext3 just fine. Where I get stuck from the instructions I find, is I can't find the 'store' menu, and if I skip this step my proxy doesn't seem to be able to us...

RB922UAGS-5HPacD Question

I've been waiting for this I hope :)

I'm wanting to replace some old closed access points (indoors) with these. However I'd like to still have backwards compatible 802.11b/g/n radio.

Can i just plug in a R11e-2HPnD to it? Which enclosure do you recommend?

Thank you

I looked at the Wiki and found this page: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Voip At the very end of the page is a sample configuration that does what I want to do.
