Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

I upgraded to 6.1 too, it broke my IPSEC VPNs and didn't fix the issue.

Re: RouterOS 6.1 released

Problems here with IPSEC between Draytek and Mikrotik 6.1 - worked fine in 6.0 but upgraded to 6.1 and found the VPN randomly disconnects and will not reconnect. Workaround - copy the IPSEC proposal and the connection comes back up but the issue re-occurs. No logs available at this time (production ...

Re: RouterOS_x86 + USB + ADSLmodem

+1
I would be interested in the USB modem feature, that way the modem could draw power straight from the USB port of the router. Less power adapters, wires and hardware to go wrong (we currently use a two device solution and feel it's ugly)

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

Wow it's been a long time since I posted this!

Just upgraded to v6.0 and the issue is not fixed.

We're getting by using forced 100MB half duplex :?

Still looking forward to a fix :)

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

Hi guys,

Sorry to keep on at you... but any progress at all? Really happy with the RB2011 but this one issue is letting it down!

Thanks,

Henry

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

Any news from Mikrotik about when this will be fixed? Makes it difficult for us to recommend this unit with the problem still outstanding. :?

Thanks

Henry

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

Interesting to know it's ECI and Huawei I'm still running at 100 Mbps half duplex at the moment but even that doesn't seem totally stable. Here's what happened to the FTTC connection last night out of nowhere (having been up since 17:30) 2013.02.27-02:01:41 <172.16.1.252>: route, debug, event debug: I...

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

We have worked around this problem with our customers by them using port 10 on the RB2011 set at autonegotiate they get 100 Mbps full duplex to the BT supplied FTTC modems Thanks for the info Nick. We tried port 10 this afternoon and in our case it doesn't help at all. Currently we have 100 Mbps ha...

Feature request - PPPoE time between redial

Hello, I'm using a RB2011 and I've noticed the automatic PPPoE redial is quite aggressive in attempting to re-establish a connection. In my case, it will attempt to dial about 5 times before it's successful. I'm guessing the PPPoE modem I'm using just can't keep up, and I'm wondering if the Mikrotik...

Re: RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

I wouldn't be surprised if Mikrotik have not been able to reproduce the problem reliably Perhaps I could loan some hardware to Mikrotik so they can investigate further? I'm sure this problem is going to affect everyone in the UK with an FTTC modem. It would be useful to know if an unlocked ECI V-2F...

Re: rb2011 - poor performance with uk bt infinity

Hello, I have the exact same problem and I have posted a thread here (before I found this thread). I can confirm placing a 10/100 switch between the BT modem and the RB solves the issue but it shouldn't be required. I would like an official response from Mikrotik. I am willing to provide whatever di...

Re: problem of gigabit port between cisco and mikrotik

I have a similar problem with port speed on the RB2011 - I have posted a thread here I would be interested to hear if you made any progress. I've been using router/switch equipment for 10+ years and this is the first instance of a port speed problem I can remember. The only difference is that this i...

RB2011UAS-RM - auto negotiation problem

Hi guys, I have just installed a RB2011UAS-RM for a customer and discovered a problem with the LAN speed negotiation. I connected LAN port 3 on the RB to a BT FTCC modem (ECI V-2FUb/I Rev.B) and discovered it negotiated at 10 Mbps. First thought was of course bad cable. Having replaced the cable the...
