Re: RouterOS v6.27 released

I will do some testing to figure out where the problem is and will open the case soon.
simaskkk - Does problem persist if you disable/enable queues? Do you have scripts/schedulers or something else which might change queue settings while they are working?

Re: RouterOS v6.27 released

Queue Tree queues does not work in 6.27 (all counters stays on 0) (at least for GRE tunnel interfaces) :)
Very poor performance for single TCP flow over GRE tunnel.

Re: GRE tunnel problem

I connected sniffer today and was able to sniff the traffic, it seems RouterOS is ignoring "Local Address" setting in the GRE interface configuration. No matter what address is set in this field, it is ignored and IP of outgoing interface is used.

Re: GRE tunnel problem

There are no NAT anywhere in the topology. PPTP isn't an option because of the company policy (because of the weak security). GRE tunnels will be protected by IPSec VPN (this is next thing I'll be testing after this), but now I need to solve this problem. RouterOS allows to create multiple tunnels, ...

GRE tunnel problem

I need to establish two parallel GRE tunnels between same MikroTik routers (one tunnel interface is on one vrf, second is on another). I have no problems with first GRE tunnel. To configure second tunnel, I give additional (secondary) IP on WAN interface for both routers and use those IPs as GRE tun...

Re: IPSec: several local subnets to one tunnel

It is much easier to create GRE tunnel interface, protect it with IPSec and do all the routing via it instead of creating those complicated IPSec policies.

By the way, is plain IPSec tunnel interfaces are on the feature request list?

vrf connected route leaking

Hi, I'm able to ping local interfaces which are assigned to different vrf's of the mikrotik router (RB750 6.00rc11). It is a problem in my case, because IP address which represents local interface in one vrf represents another host in the other vrf, however it is always routed to the local interface...
