Re: CSS326-24G-2S+RM incorrect stats

What's the idea of answering me in a strange language? Is this some kind of trolling?

CSS326-24G-2S+RM incorrect stats

I have updated the SwOS of my CSS326-24G-2S+RM switch to SwOS 2.6 and the stats tab gives incorrect values. It seams that the TX bytes and RX bytes are frequently reset to zero. Is this a bug or a feature?

Re: v6.37 [current] is released!

Specify the correct release channel like this: /system package update set channel=current If still nothing, maybe the changes file is still updating in your geographic region, try in 10 minutes Sorry, I didn't mention that I was going through winbox. So, the channel was already selected as current....

Re: v6.37 [current] is released!

RB435G with Routeros 6.36.3.
Check for Updates in /system/packages says: "System is already up to date"
Should I update manually?

SFP port compatibility

I have a CISCO MGBT 1 GBIT MINI-GBIC SFP module and I would like to know if it is compatible with the SFP port of mikrotik routerboards. I checked the hardware compatibility list and the CISCO module is not listed there. Has anybody tried it on a mikrotik routerboard? I am particularly interested on...

Re: Manual Improvements

I would like to see some clarification of conflicting configuration settings or command cross-reference and interrelation. For example: I am setting-up a two routerboard link in AP/station configuration. Trying to add WPA security I have to consider security profiles, their selection, access lists, ...

Re: RB922UAGS-5HPacD availability?

Thanks for the replies. I checked the list yesterday (http://routerboard.com/) and I didn't see it. Today it is there. Maybe I didn't notice it because the NEW star is gone. Mea culpa. Anyway I will wait for it to become available.

Re: RB922UAGS-5HPacD availability?

And now, this routerboard has disappeared from the product list, without a comment from Mikrotik!
What is going on?
Is anybody from Mikrotik reading the forum?

RB922UAGS-5HPacD availability?

Does anyone know if there is a scarcity of RB922UAGS-5HPacD routerboards? The local distributor tells me that it is nowhere to be found and that Mikrotik gives a 90 day delivery time. Is it true?

Re: WinBox 3.0beta2 router selection and login

Can't find any changelog. I installed it and cannot see any differences. What are the differences from previous version? Just bugfixes?

Re: v6.10 released

I upgraded two RB435G's from 6.9 to 6.10. They connected fine but no packets were forwarded.
They worked well (except from the issues with the graphs) with all versions 6.X before 6.10.
Downgraded back to 6.9 and they worked again.

Re: RouterOS v6.6 released

It seems that everybody has different problems, even with the same hardware. I have a couple of RB435Gs for a private link. I upgraded from 5.26 to 6.0->6.1->6.2->6.3->6.4->6.5 and finally 6.6, whenever each version became available. Apart from the known (and fixed) problem of winbox panels requirin...

Re: v6rc14 released

I just installed version 6.0. First impressions compared to 5.24: (mipsbe on RB435G) Memory usage +100% Disk usage -50% CPU usage about +30% for the same bandwidth (this measurement is approximate as I cannot replicate exact same bandwidth/number of connections) I would go back to 5.24 but since we ...

Re: MIMO polarization for maximum bandwidth

Why not use a Rocket Dish from ubiquiti and a ubtik or rockettik? You can get a rocket dish up to 36 Db and a mikrotik 711 in an encloser that will snap right onto the dish. Best of both world. And if you want to really pimp the link out you could also toss on some RfAmor. Makes for a nice clean in...

Re: MIMO polarization for maximum bandwidth

Thank you very much hipro5. You have been most helpful. The reason I am using 2 antennas is that I need the 29 dBi gain, as I am trying to cover 17 km over sea and some hills in between. Only recently I have seen dual polarization antennas at that gain, and they are not yet available in my country. ...

MIMO polarization for maximum bandwidth

I am trying to set up a link with two Mikrotik routers and four antennas for maximum throughput in MIMO nv2 configuration. I searched the forum and found quite a lot of information scattered around but no concise answer. My question is this: Using two grid antennas at both ends, should the antennas ...
