Re: v6.38 RB3011 does not boot after update

Netinstall works emulated with sudo rights. You can also setup TFTP server on other routerboard: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/TFTP or on Linux system (I personally prefer ARCH Linux way of documentation): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/TFTP I would like to know more about this meth...

Re: Burning the image of the routerboard to a flash disk from Linux

This would actually be really handy. I have this problem now. I want to do a fresh reinstall on my MikroTik and really don't want to have to find a Windows machine to do this. There is not single Windows machine in the office :(

Re: ipsec multisubnet or multi policy issue

I also seem to be having this issue. Cannot get more than one tunnel to work. Have set all three policies to level=unique. UPDATE: Actually it turns out my problem is more like the problem described below: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=92568 I can establish a tunnel for the other su...

Re: Win8 can't connect to RB2011 wifi

I fixed this problem myself by changing the Channel Width from 20/40Mhz HT Above to 20/40MHz HT Below. Windows doesn't like "Above"

Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN and SFP problems

I had given up on getting the sfp working. Recently I updated to 5.26 and voila it started working with the same module that I could never get working (see above). Not sure what changed in the code but I am very happy it works now.

RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN and SFP problems

Hello shiny helpful people. I have recently purchased a RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN router and for the most part I am very happy with it. However; I cannot seem to get any SFP modules working. Admittedly I have only tried two. Initially a 3COM 3CSFP93 1000BASE-T module. I could get the link light up but traff...
