Re: Winbox 3

Yes, it is normal behaviour. You must use the network address not node IP address. Take for example, the node IP address 192.168.1.10/30. The network address is 192.168.1.8, broadcast address is 192.168.1.11 while the two nodes IP addresses are 192.168.1.9 and 192.168.1.10. In order to represent th...

iperf between two wan... need help

I'm trying to do bandwidth test between my two WAN interfaces on one Mikrotik, which has static ips. Splitted two PCs based on mangle route marking for specific ports (80, 443 and 5001/UDP). One PC shows IP_WAN1, the other PC shows IP_WAN2 (tested in 2ip.ru). Here starts my problems. I've started ip...

Re: Winbox 3

Can't set CIDR notated network address into src.address field (ip > routes > rules).

192.168.1.0/30 - okay
192.168.1.10/30 - not okay
192.168.1.20/30 - okay
192.168.1.30/30 - not okay
192.168.1.40/30 - okay
192.168.1.50/30 - not okay
192.168.1.56/30 - okay

Is it normal behavior?

mark speeders

Hi guys, need little help. I have an idea to mark users exceeding the speed into address-list and then limit they speed. For example using max. bandwidth for a 10 minutes at high speed. How? I know about PCQ and LB/FO/FT, but can't catch the answer in my head.

IPSEC NAT limitation

Hello community. Today i've setup L2TP IPSEC tunnel and reached limitation described in IPSEC wiki: Only one L2TP/IpSec connection can be established through the NAT. Which means that only one client can connect to the sever located behind the same router. I know WHY this happens, my question is HOW...
